1- Russia Starting To Use Blockchain
Russia has announced that they've got some plans to start using blockchain in the future! Way to go Russia!
They've released an announcement that they're planning to use blockchain to secure the next presidential election voting. Blockchain technology will provide protection against the rigging of votes and hacking. It will also be convenient for the citizens.
Again; "if you can't beat them, join them!" This is my new motto when it comes to cryptocurrencies lol...

3- Kazakhstan May Ban Cryptocurrencies
Daniyar Akishev, chairman of Kazakhstan National Bank, has been interviewed about cryptocurrencies. In the interview, he said that Kazakhstan’s National Bank is considering banning cryptocurrency use, exchanges, and mining because "virtual currencies are an ideal vehicle for fraud, money-laundering, and tax evasion."
He even continued; “We want to ban the exchange of digital currencies for the national currency. We want to prohibit the stock exchange’s activities in this area, as well as every type of mining.”
And according to Akishev, all of this is done to protect its citizens from scams and fraud. He also admitted that regulators can’t control if Kazakhstanis trade cryptocurrencies in cross-border transactions, but it can ban crypto mining within the Central Asian country’s borders.

That's it!
#FUDSunday! How about that...
I'm not even talking about the situation in Thailand and South-Korea! Their government just wants to regulate cryptocurrencies a little bit, which is understandable, but Kazakstan... What the f*ck are you doing :D?
Akishev literally admitted that they can't control the trading of cryptocurrencies if Kazakhstanis trade cryptocurrencies in cross-border transactions. Still, he is being stubborn and wants to COMPLETELY BAN trading and mining in Kazakstan... What does he think he will accomplish with that?
What do you think about this? Is he "protecting the country's citizens", or is he just being stubborn?
