CONTEST.... and .... RAFFLE!!... Whats in My Collection? Precious Metals Edition #2 - CONTEST ....and.... RAFFLE!!

Here is another one of my favorites from APMEX. Its a silver piece from France that can also be used as fiat currency because it is actually worth ten Euros. I am giving away two of these; one in the form of a contest the other in the form of a raffle. Instructions can be found at the end of the post.

Contest & Raffle Details

You have the opportunity to possibly win the above Joan of Arc silver piece. I will be giving two of them out. You have a choice of entering The Contest, The Raffle or both. One person can enter to win in both The Contest and The Raffle, but one person can only win either The Contest or The Raffle, not both. Because of the nature of the contest, one contestant can only enter The Contest once. No limit on the amount of entries for The Raffle.

Winners will be announced in a separate post sometime early to the middle of March. Winners will have one week to claim their prize in the comment section of the announcing post or via email.

Contest Prologue
I create art to help me visually understand the evolution of archetypes; their origin, how they express themselves and how they change. The easiest way for me to do this is by collecting rubber stamps and use them to help me understand how each archetype relates to each other as the themes in my art develop.

I frequently contemplate science, math, ancient texts, and philosophy because I am obsessed with trying to figure out the nature of reality. My art is largely an expression of me exploring various ideas with the process of creation, eternity, and how consciousness replicates, changes and expresses itself over time.

I am working in different projects at the moment, ranging from illuminated manuscripts (William Blake style story telling... illustrated manuscripts inspired by ancient texts) to oil painting on canvas.

The themes I have mostly posted in this blog deal with (the historically underrated) feminine aspect of divinity in the process of creation, evolution and destruction. Its been on my mind lately.

My long term goal is to build a body of art appropriate for public display. I can do with some feedback as I progress, hence the motivation for this Contest and Raffle. I am not a professionally trained artist. I am interested in creating better art, not so much protecting my feelings; in other words, do not worry about offending me.

Immediate trajectory of expansion: printing making and go into mixed media with these rubber stamps to add on some more aesthetic complexity.
