To celebrate creativity and the future cooperation between the @globalschool and the @slothicorn movement, as well as to announce the slothicorn newsletter we will work on from March with the participants of the globalschool and with the help of online contributors, I am happy to invite you to this little contest-giveaway to win 10 SBD! =)
After meeting some wonderful initiatives on the platform to support entrepreneurship, learnings and creatives, and be even more motivated, especially after exchanging personally a bit with @alexandravart and @stellabelle who both helped me a lot right from the beginning. Grateful and thankful, I asked them about how I could cooperate with the @globalschool to join their effort supporting the #creative-commons community. @stellabelle made me understand that a newsletter would be really appreciated for the #slothicorn collective. As this project requires time to proceed as well as a serie of competences in content research, edition and creation, I thought, it would be a good idea to adapt the workshops and integrate this as an activity to offer the students with a new concrete project on which they can contribute!
So, I am proud to announce from beginning of March, the #globalschool will cooperate every week with the participants and online contributors further to the #creative-commons and the collective of #slothicorn federated by @stellabelle! Within the crypto-education and creative workshops, we will be also do our best to help to organize the weekly newsletter for the slothicorn collective!
What you can expect for the #slothicorn newsletter:
- News about the collective.
- New contests related to #creative-commons & #slothicorn.
- A list of the creations under the #slothicorn catergory organized by day.
- A weekly creative contest to win 10 SBD !

This last weeks, we already started to prepare a template and a serie of visuals with the participants of the last group at the @globalschool. Here a composition with some of the visuals we made together to learn and practice vectorial design:

The contest
To participate you just need to find out how many new characters are in the visual (it means, not published previously on any of my posts before this one) and describe them in a list in the reply. The winner will be the first finding out and will be announced on the 26th of February!

I am happy to read your message and entry! Thank you for applying to the contest and for giving your feedback about the announce of the slothicorn newsletter!
We are indeed lucky to have these modern tools to communicate today! =) The success come always while you are inspired and cooperating with wonderful people. It is helping to go out of our comfort zone and show we are there, present and caring. Opening our heart and giving the best of ourself is opening with time every door โค๏ธ .
I believe the newsletter will be a great occasion to discover a lot of creations we could probably miss as there are so much great talents and projects within the slothicorn collective. Maybe we can cooperate later on to make it in different languages? I'll do my best to have it in english and in french, and if I can find some help, I'll do my best to have it in other languages too! =)
About your entry to the contest, it seems, I count 3 errors in your submission as well as missing some new characters. ;-)
I know it is tricky, it might require to re-check some of the previous post to find out :-D
PS: I will not say which are the errors to let the chance to find them, however, I am impressed by your flower culture!! :)))

I went through everything, I discovered the orange fish and two characters in the story of Slothy (purple flower and blackberry), I think now I have no mistakes, the important thing is to get to your presentation post hehe, I know where you are from , a pleasure to meet you, everything you do is incredible, you are one of the best in Steemit @jnmarteau.

I realized fast that I probably made a too short intro and didn't really explain anything inside the article, maybe because I was little shy and I need to learn everything arriving on steemit. However with such empowering feedbacks and friendships, I'll do my best to publish more in the future.
About your entry, I really like your perseverance! It is getting closer and closer to the good result! Still a missing character! ;-)

Yes indeed it is not easy to find out how to start on steemit and presenting our self is not the most simple! I get personally a lot o help to write it. But I am thinking seriously to make another introduction post as I really have the impression, I did not say much. ;-)
However, I would be really happy if you are deciding to make your introduction post too. If you do, please let me know, I would help to structure it if you need some help. I am sure you have a lot of things to share which can be inspiring for the community O:)

You said the necessary thing, the rest you transmit it through your publications, that's how you really know the people in steemit. I, I do not know, would not know what to say about me, the people who follow me already knew a woman who loves animals and seeks through stories to generate good relationships between people.

Excellent follow through. Thank you for working with us on the newsletter. i want to let you know of another project that was just spontaneously launched last night: Global Collage. Basically, we are building one giant collage, by each artist adding to one file. I think the more decentralized this project is, the better. Ideally, I want to help it become something that can run by itself, without a central leader. So, it's important that this account become enabled with SP.... and long-term, i would like to have many different groups working together...Thanks for your collaboration. I look forward to what you and your students do for the newsletter. Our Discord channel is the best way to learn all the projects going on, and things pop up very often in there....

I m always so happy to read you and even more confident while I can see that the initiatives are indeed matching with your will/vision and giving you not only the feeling but also the confidence your initiative is taking indeed the steps you are hoping.
I have to confess, I thought I needed to take the responsability to announce the project of the newsletter even if we get only a few occasion to exchange about it, It seemed to be the best way to show engagement and motivate us and start to federate on this new branch which with the help of the community will fower.
I am following with attention the various conversations on the discord, it what motivated me the most, watching all these wonderful exchanges all the time with all the community. For me it can be little overwhelming to say something in the group, I always have the impression I'll stop one or the other to express themselves, but also really encouraging and showing that we need to take mindful responsabilities to make the collective take steps and not have one of us and you overloaded all the time.
I believe we are on a good way of cooperating together, it brings me a lot of trust and confidence that I had the impression I lost while going throught the difficulties and adventures of these last years. But contributing to this project brings me the best of who I am. I feel my experience can be useful and I am glad to start to develop further this cooperation with your trust. Thank you for all of this! I'll do my best to keep track and contribute as well as possible! Take care and greetings from here. =)
