Every Tuesday, you have a chance to win a membership to Steem Basic Income, SBI, at the Freewrite House.
Try to win one, my friends. An everlasting vote on your posts is nothing to sneeze at.
We want to make it super easy for you. Your task is to tell us in the comment section about one - or more- freewrites of others you have read in the last couple of days you really liked. Yup, not your own!!

In an ideal world, you also give that person a nice upvote - but we are not going to check on that.

Steem Basic Income
Steem Basic Income is a social experiment to bring a basic income to as many Steemians as possible. Members join by sponsoring others into the program. Steem Basic Income is delivered through providing regular upvotes to member content.
This is what you have to do for your chance to win a membership:

- We will let you know if your comment is accepted and give you a number.

At 5 PM Pacific time the day after the publishing of this post, we will close the contest and draw the winner through a random number generator. This will give you almost 36 hours to post your comment.

I liked @waterworks "party" #freewrite this week. It was so much like planning every party I helped with. Especially, the what am I going to wear line. The best part about planning a party, is the minute it is over. It's always a plus when nobody gets into a fight. I used to be on the planning committee for my high school reunions, I stopped at 30. I let someone else deal with our 40th, and I didn't even go. Thanks for a chance, for a share at some SBI.

We don't have high school reunions like you all have here in Germany. There, you start in a class with x amount of other kids in 5th grade (if you go to Gymnasium) and you are with the same bunch through grade 13.... Ours was small. 12 kids. But I am never in Germany when they have been meeting - and a bit too expensive to make a special trip 🙃

This story gripped me from the very beginning. It is about a warrior who always worked alone, fighting for his king. It wasn't until he worked with 2 others, that he was able to care; finding the importance of caring, and what that meant to him. Very well written and a must read.

I so wished you would have joined!! I felt the same way before I entered papa-peppers selfie challenge and by the end, I didn't care anymore. It was freeing. And we gave options to hide.... One is showing up as a squirrel puppet!! but too late now.

It is a short and powerful motivational piece for freewriters, as it embodies the "what have you got to lose" philosophy, sometimes we just have to put ourselves out there, freewriting helps in that sense.

This story had me on the edge of my seat and glued in one spot. How do I write something up and not give away all of the pieces that made this story work? 🤔
You’re going to have to read it for yourself. I’m going to be quiet and let this piece do the talking.

I recently read this freewrite which really made me giggle. It was written by @alimamassstory.
It was a funny story that played on words from an old song and went over themes of friendship, envy, competition, and humility that is not really humble but cutting una way that only friends can cut.
It made me LOL!
