Your entries need to be submitted by the midnight of Central European Time in order to be considered for the challenge with a description of approximately 30 to 50 words. Only one picture to be submitted for a daily photo challenge. The rule number one is to use only personal images. Ten winning photos will receive an upvote from me from which I will pick one winner that will receive extended publicity in my post tomorrow morning. I will also visit his/her blog to upvote one of the most recent posts.

The winner of daily challenge then competes against winners from other continental challenges of the respective week to receive the price of 15 SBD. That will be decided by you based on the dollar value of upvotes of my winning post announcement. The winning weekly picture then automatically enters other rounds for the price of 150 SBD in total.

Please see the winner of Asian Sunday, Australian Monday, Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans, African Wednesday and European Thursday to give them your support if you like their image to be the one winning the weekly price and entering the other stages of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge. @justdentist Tuesday of Antarctica and the world's oceans entry:

Life, Food, Adventure - Water is the elixir of life!

The world oceans feed people, they connect people, they can be peaceful and dangerous at once. Today we can even generate energy by tidal forces or wave energy power plants.
The fishermen look so peaceful during the sunset at the beach in Tarifa, Spain. It's the Atlantic coastline where the image was taken.

7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge – African Wednesday week #12 – winner announcement!

@axeman African Wednesday entry:

Having photography in blood, even on vacation it is very hard to sleep well in the morning, having in mind new location/new view which can be fixed by your camera. This shot is taken early morning on sunrise at Hurghada, Egypt with long telephoto lens to compress the perspective and the rising sun too look large and beautiful.

This week was an easy choice for me. Last weekend I had a chance to finally go to Spire 73, a rooftop bar in downtown Los Angeles just above the Intercontinental Hotel. And yes, you guessed it, 73 means the 73rd floor! The views from here were absolutely incredible! It's a great bar too, perfect place to watch the sunset.

Wow, impressive shot as usual :)

One hell of a building! Drinks must taste great from over there:)

Highway 101 - California Coast

The famous highway along the west coast is worth every single mile. We drove from LA to SF and on the way this beautiful lagoon showed up. It wasn't as crowded as suspected and we had a nice little quiet lunch. Have a great weekend everybody:)

Fabulous image as always!

Thank you. This was an extremely cool photography spot:)

This is a classic photo of Manhattan (New York City). The view of the iconic building of The Empire State, taken from Broadway using a particular "angle". The format black and white enhances the image.

Beautiful photography! Thank you so much for your submission. Tomas

Last year I spent 12 days on Big Island, Hawaii. Big Island is incredibly diverse thanks to its 8 different climate zones. When hitchhiking I got a lift with a super-nice Ex-Hippie who drove me around the island for three days and showed me some amazing views like this one!

Wow, simply stunning!

Central Park, one of my favorite spots in NYC. I took this photo on a beautiful sunny December day last year. To me, this place is like a natural oasis among all the concrete jungle where you dont even get to see the sun sometimes as the skyscrapers literally block the sky.

Wow, great shot! Love the autumn leaves.

What a great pic! Thank you so much for your contribution. Tomas

This photo comes from Montreal, Canada at the Montreal Botanical Garden. These "houses" are completely made by hand from branches. During my visit, the park staff were handing out branches to visitors so that we could add branches to the houses, if interested. This is how they maintain the houses during the summer months. It was a really neat experience! Good luck to all other entries and happy Friday to everyone! 😁

Very very interesting. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Tomas

I took this photo of the Times Square at night in summer 2011 when I was on my work-and-travel stay in New Jersey. New York City is a fascinating place to be but I can only stay there for a couple of days as I tend to get overwhelmed but all the hustle and bustle of this vibrant metropolis :)

Nice shot! You could spend a full evening in Times Square and get tons of fascinating photos!

Thanks Matt :) Yeah, this place is insane. But as I said, I usually stay just a few days in NYC and then go for more quiet and natural places ;)

Crazy, is that a normal night on Times Square? I've never been there.

I suppose it is :) Only been there a couple times at night but it always looked like this :D But I prefer more natural places, just like you ;)

Absolutely... I just came from the mountain. ;)

I guess it doe get pretty busy there:)

For me Mexico, Huatulco was a special place. When I went off the ship I saw life - people were never in a hurry, in the street I heard music and singing. It was such a sunny and positive little town! I hope I will be able to go there again.

Wow, stunning view! Thank you for inspiration :) I live in Yucatan. Huatulco is in Oaxaca, right? Are the ADO buses going there?

Well, I am a wrong person to answer your questions :) I was in that place several times and it was years ago...

Beautiful pic! Please stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas

This is a statue in the Living Memorial Sculpture Garden in Weed, CA, USA, with Mt Shasta in the background. This site has about a dozen larger than life metal sculptures, a place for contemplation on the effects of war. Photo was taken in May 2016.

Thank you so much for your contribution. Kindly stay tuned for the winner announcement. Tomas

Taken from the top of the White Pass Chair (approx 2000m above sea level) at Fernie Alpine Resort in British Columbia on the morning of the first day of the season that all access lifts were open. The inversion and view that greeted us was spectacular.

Stunning image and a great contribution! Tomas
