Time For Your Weekly Dose Of Heart Felt Thankfulness
The Thank You Economy has turned into a fun and engaging project. After 9 weeks I'm still meeting new people, finding new communities and awesome ways to participate and connect with other Steem users. Last weeks contest was great. We gave away 10 shares of SBI and the engagement level was great, with over 80 total comments and 12 entries.
I just want to Thank Everyone again who has been participating, and resteeming the posts. This week we have a couple sponsors. What is The Thank You Economy contest all about?
An Attitude of Gratitude - The Thank You Economy is simply a way to say thank you to someone who has helped you, influenced you or blessed you in some way in the Steem community. It can be tough getting started on Steemit, and the people who have been here for a while realize that. After all they were new at one time as well. What I realized about the Steemit community was there are people helping us new guys all over the place, but what can we really do to show our appreciation back? Not much....
When you are new about all you can do is say "Thank You," maybe give a post a resteem to the 100 followers who are not bots, and a small dust vote. Those things can add up especially if they have a lot of followers. That's where the idea for the Thank You Economy contest arose from I wanted to do more to say thank you.
Maybe I can do more. It might help to give them a little added exposure in a contest and possibly a share of Steem Basic Income, which will pay them over and over as long as they are posting content. I thought there might be others who wanted to do the same, not to mention it's fun.
Just saying thank you to someone opens up all kinds of opportunities to interact with each other. YOU CAN THANK ANYONE, anyone who has helped you and made a difference in your life, you could even thank @ned for helping develop the steemit platform, now if he won it would probably be a waste of a good SBI share, he usually declines payment for his posts.

For this, I would have to give a shout out to @nathanmars. This is a hugely successful steemian with the best interests of the blockchain at heart. Recently he has delegated more or less all of his substantial SP to various apps on the blockchain to help their growth. not only that he has selected a number of users to receive a 777SP delegation each to further their work on the blockchain. I was one of these luck people that he decided to support with no restrictions on its use. I think it's great that a whale like this is more interested in spreading the love rather than just making returns for now.

Great Pick BTW... Hey have you ever looked at the Pay It Forward Contest, you would probably be pretty good with it and it is great for generating engagement metrics, most of the people will tag the "featured posts" that you curate which gives you plenty of opportunity to respond etc....
He is doing massive work through promotion and delegation. It's so nice to have a user like that working with minnows and helping out. I have come across the pay it forward contest at some stage. I definitely remember the name from a few posts but I don't think that I have been entering it. I might take a look at it again and see what it's about. I will enter most things to try and boost my account and gives me posts to engage with at the same time. It's win win.

@coinsandchains First of all, I would like to say Thank you mate for giving us a great opportunity to say thank you to those who helped us is steemit when we needed it the most! We all know there are oceans of steemians in the blockchain and most of them are quite good at what they do! Nowadays, I think it is very hard for a newcomer to climb the ladder and grow himself, especially if has not invested a lot of money in his account, as the competition is higher than ever. I am also a newbie plankton who started his journey on 15th Aug 2018. At first, I also found it very hard to survive in steemit because as a plankton only a handful people will think to visit your blogs and support you. But thanks to my man @etcmike whom I met after some days of my joining. He is a very helpful and motivative guy! Not only he is helping me a lot since then, but also he is teaching me how steemit works and how to climb up the ladder. We chat a lot over Discord and discuss many things. It would have been very hard for me if I did not meet him. What he did and still doing for me is nothing but a blessing of God! So, I want to thank you @etcmike for being there for me mate! I really appreciate it a lot...
I also want to say thank you to #PayItForward , a great community especially for minnows with lots of active supporters and you can participate in a lot of contests and win attractive prizes! They have been doing a great job for us and helping us to get exposure in steemit! I am also a member of its discord group and would suggest you all to join it! @etcmike looks like an awesome choice. That is one of the great things about steemit there are still several people out there willing to mentor newcomers to the system. I have had several myself, which is actually how this contest got started.

I love to see that this is still going on.
This week I am going to thank a friend that I meet on Lit and then started to follow here on steem. That is @veteranforcrypto he has been someone to show another side of my own country. We live on different sides of the USA and here is man that went to war when called. Is doing a good job being a father and doing all that while dealing with problems that stop others. It is a reminder to me that we can all do more than we think. That we can find inspiration all over the place. So thank you for always being so honest it is great to hear from someone so real.
That is an awesome choice, with some awesome posts. @veteranforcrypto seems to do a good bit to promote and support veterans on the platform. Hat's off to him, for his service in the past and his service now, it truly is appreciated.
Now you just simply must put a couple of hastags in your post for the bonus round. I know you are in the #ccc and I think #pifc..... are there any more?
I would like to thank @brittandjosie because she has been always there for me since the very beginning I joined in Steemit. I wouldn't be still writing for Steemit if I hadn't found someone like her.She always helped me,supported me and guided me with her useful suggestion and opinion about my blogs.
Her work also inspired me a lot.I often read her blog and ask for her opinion about my writing.She is doing this not only for me.I have observed that she has been helping a lot of newbies in Steemit just like that.So I chose her.
She is a simply wonderful choice, and she's way up there on the engagement league lists. The helpful nature of people like @brittandjosie are one of the most amazing things about steemit. She does write well, Hmmmm.

Great choice, we talked about this last week. He is doing awesome things on the network, and all of those 777 delegations is pretty awesome, he has a dozen or more out there when I last checked.

I've been talking to mine for a long time.... lol, I actually used voice recognition almost 20 years ago. It was crap, slow, and you had to "really" train it, but it was pretty cool back then. (I know that's not what you are talking about but I wish I had stuck with some of the dev on that side, it would be huge now.)

That's an awesome pick, and some pretty impressive rides. 100+km in a day with camping gear, that's a haul....
We get quite a few cyclists around here, I live in the mountains about 2 hours northeast of Atlanta Ga. On the weekends the mountain roads do tend to get crowded with cyclists and motorcycles, making other travel difficult.
