[Steemit Tip] Don't Miss The Forest For The Trees On Steemit!
Are you getting discouraged that your posts are not getting the visibility that they deserve?
You are not alone. 99% of Steemit bloggers may be thinking the exact same thing as you are. Many of them may plan to quit after they struggle for weeks or even months to get their posts seen and voted upon. To make it worse the value of Steem is not constantly rising and at times goes below the dollar mark.
Some may remember Steem falling to very low levels and then bouncing back. Steem is very resilient and will always gain in value in the long term. I am no expert on crypto but common sense tells me that backed by an expanding content platform the currency is set for good days ahead.

Many people predicted that Bitcoin will be finished when it was a year old but quite the contrary, it has proven to be stronger than fiat currencies all over the world. The appreciation in the value of Bitcoin has surpassed that of any other recent forms of currency. It has been acknowledged as a sort of symbol of financial stability by many experts and leaders, though critics still harp on unfounded issues for their own reasons.
You must remember that Steemit at this time is also just more than a year old, similar to the time period that Bitcoin went through as I have touched upon in the last paragraph. Even if it appreciated much less than Bitcoin in the future, it will still multiply itself in value several times over.
For example, let's say that Steem reaches a value of $10 in 2 years time, although optimists say that it will happen sooner. If you have 1000 Steem at current rates by way of investing some and also earned by way of payouts from blogging, you will be looking at a value of $10,000 at that time!
I have given the example using a very small amount of Steem. If you blog regularly and also invest some amount of money into buying Steem you will be having Steem worth several times that amount in a few years.
Remember that Steemit is still in beta. When it goes fully live it will have several more features and will surpass other social networks in popularity and traffic. Imagine yourself at the time as an established blogger on Steemit, having a large amount of Steem in your account owing to your early adoption of the platform and your consistency as a Steemit member.
Build a Bright Future
With an appreciating amount of Steem you will be able to enjoy a sense of financial security like never before. I have seen many posts about Steemit bloggers planning to buy a house and making their dreams come true.
Some bloggers who have been around for a year have already posted about how they have raised their standard of living, bought cars and properties that they could not have been able to afford before.
For those who get bogged down with the disappointments and complexities of regular blogging, it is easy to miss the forest for the trees. I could see the vast potential of Steemit at the time that I joined. You have to be creative in your blogging and support the community, and both your income and investment are sure to keep on increasing.
Steemit As A Business?
It hasn't been easier for creating an income and a bright future by such easy means, comparatively. Setting up an online or offline business is much more difficult and the chances of failure are several times higher. Besides you don't have to be in any specific country for being successful, you can be anywhere your home is.
So be optimistic and hope as well as expect a great future in the long term. Steemit is going to become an amazing creation, unique and different from all others.
Continue to build your Steemit account with your blog posts, comments and Steem Power, and give back to the community by rewarding, encouraging and supporting others.

Excellent write up with much truth here.
I agree, Steemit has a bright future and the value of steem can only rise. I joined last December and blogged like crazy and got some followers. My work is seasonal and so had to stop during the summer. When I returned I noticed a lot had stopped supporting me so it seems you have to be regular or there are consequences. I have been blogging again because I love to do it and will try to find a way to continue during the summer. What is strange, even though I apparently have a lot of followers, there are very few who actually upvote my posts. This is a mystery to me and is somewhat disheartening. In the mean time I have trying to support new people who come onto the steemit platform as a way of encouragement.

Good to know that you have resumed blogging. However, follower behavior can be a bit unpredictable depending upon where and how they started following you. For example if you got those followers through your posts appearing in the feed, it means that they are purely organic followers who are interested in what you blog about.
If you have got them through your comments on posts that may not have been one of your main blogging niches, they would be organic followers but may not go through your content since it might be outside their area of interest.
Lastly, there are quite a few users who follow members randomly in the hope that they will be followed back. Unfortunately, in my personal experience, these form the bulk of followers I guess for almost everyone, and that is why the number of upvotes as compared to the total number of followers is dismal.
Some bloggers always have trending and hot posts, mainly because they are upvoted by automated systems that are programmed to vote on posts of "favorite authors" of the people making those upvotes. Two factors play an important role when someone decides to give automatic upvotes to an author's posts. One is voting power and the other is the frequency of posts. Hope it is a bit clear now.
