ColorChallenge Wednesdayyellow - Albino Burmese python snake

We entered the small hall inside the zoo with a clear glasses division. I am scared of snakes and its kind of freaking me out upon seeing several large snakes inside with alive chicken for their meals. But this one caught my attention, it doesn't look that creepy because of its attractive color. It took me a lot of courage to come closer and take a photo. With the glass between us, he noticed me and started to tilt his head up as if he is saying Hello to me.

This is an Albino burmese python snake. They are one of the five largest snakes in the world and are native of Southeast Asia. They aren't poisonous but are constrictors, they coil around their prey and squeeze it to death. In the wild adult Albino python snakes eat larger prey alligators and deer while the younger snakes eat mice. Wild burmese pythons can measure up to 12.1 ft-long and the largest known to reach 18.8 ft-long. They can routinely live for 25 years.

This is my first entry for @kalemandra Colorchallenge Wednesdayyellow contest

My mother have told me that a python was trying to eat me when I was a bit less than two years old and than her aunt saved me by hitting the snake in the head with a chop up. The python was 3.5 meters long and they put it out in the jungle where it belongs afterwards.

OMG! I'm glad your aunt was able to save you might have been killed by that snake. It might be a young python snake if it was only 3.5 meters long.

I remember when I was in college, a friend asked me to take care of his 6ft burmese phyton while he goes to a 2-week vacation and just after a week my mom went inside my room and saw the snake, she nearly had a heart attack! That same night I had to find another friend who was willing to take care of the snake. It took me around 5 hours looking for 1 though because during those times mobile phones were so expensive and I didn't have 1.

Seriously? didn't you feel scared? I would surely freak out if I was your Mom.

I'm not scared of phytons, I'm scared of poisonous snakes for sure.. 😀

Python is a dangerous creeping anmal. No matter how beautiful and small it is can cause harm. In fact this is my first time of seeing such python

I agree that's the nature of snakes. They might look beautiful with their color but they can bite you when you're not paying attention. Thank you for dropping by
