3 Years Steem Anniversary, 2 Years @c0ff33a on Steem - let's get Steem on Coinbase
The Steem Blockchain has reached 3 years old, and how it has developed in that time with 20 HardForks adjusting and tweaking how the blockchain works to improve and enhance our experience from it. One thing is for certain, all of us believe in Steem and want it to continue to grow and flourish - for this to happen we need to make it more accessible and of course more widely known.
And right now Coinbase is asking for suggestions of tokens it should list - Steem would be perfect for me - It's very tiresome having to buy LTC in my own Coinbase account just to send it to @blocktrades to get Steem. But forget my convenience, the real benefit would be the accessibility of Steem, being able to simply trade it through a massive exchange like Coinbase would really grow interest in the Blockchain.
To add your voice, click the image above which will open the Tweet from Brian Armstrong of Coinbase - if you have a Twitter account already just replay to his Tweet saying way you think Steem deserves to be on Coinbase - and make sure you include #steem in your Tweet.
This opportunity was first picked up on by @raj808 in this post and then followed up with a post by @theycallmedan , and you can get comment upvotes on either post if you post a screen shot of your Tweet supporting Steem. I spotted yesterday another post by @raj808 emphasising the need to make best use of this opportunity, I normally try to keep an eye out for things like this but I would have totally missed it - which just shows spreading the word really does work.
While you are at it spend some time hearting and retweeting other peoples tweets to spread the word, there are now masses of people using the #steem tag on Twitter to share blog posts and promote the blockchain - it all adds value and brings attention. I noticed @steevc is Tweeting that he will create free Steem accounts, this is a great way to bring more accounts in and to get them interested in the Steem Blockchain.
And I am now 3 days away from being on the Steem Blockchain for 2 years, according to steemworld.org I created my @c0ff33a account on 27th March 2017. And I'm looking forward to spending many more years in the future with this blockchain.

The greatest challenge we face on Steemit is getting our posts seen, I have always believed the simplest and best value way of doing this is by commenting on the blog posts of others, the more you engage people and interact with them the greater the chance they will visit your own blog and return the favour. I'm so glad your spreading this information further and thank you for joining and showing support on my post the other day. Can I just pick you up on one point though which I feel is unfair and inaccurate and shows one of the problems with steem.
Dan was not first to pick up on this. I made a post offering vote rewards and alerting everyone both on steem and twitter on Thursday morning before anyone had commented on that tweet. I'm pretty sure it was my post and tweet which inspired Dan in writing his own post as I tagged him in on the tweet on twitter (you can see this hereon my twitter profile).

It is undoubtably true that Dan's post had more impact bringing people to the tweet due to his stake and reputation as an active community minded whale, which is fully deserved. Dan has been tireless in promoting steem on twitter with us all in the Seven77 movement and even well before we started and full credit to him. But it is unfair not to give credit where credit is due simply because I have less stake.
I know you probably only saw my second poetry post mate, so I'm really not having a go at all. I'm sure you were unaware that I had made the initial call out about that tweet and got 20 people to comment on Brian Armstrong's tweet before dan made his post. Also, this comment may make me look like a nit-picker but I don't care at this point. Facts are facts.
Any chance you could amend this post to reflect these facts. Cheers

Oh goodness @c0ff33a I'd LOVE to have steem on coinbase, it'd make my life easier, that's for sure. As an American Coinbase is basically all we have for any 'easy' form of crypto to spendable money interchange.

Wouldn’t it be great if Steem was listed in @coinbase I tweeted my support yesterday.
Also congratulations on the almost 2 year steemiversary.
Thank you very much, I would love Steem in Coinbase I but it quite regular now to keep building up my investment and it would be so much easier and cut down on fees being able to do it direct from an exchange.

This would make my life so much easier.... I don't buy steem very often, only because of the extra steps(fees) to convert other cryptos to it. Like you I use coinbase to buy and convert.
Thank you, I have bought quite a large amount of steem via Coinbase buying LTC and then sending that to @blocktrades. The fees and extra step are annoying - it would make life much easier to straight out buy Steem from an exchange.

It'll be better for steem to get listed in coinbase, etc because of its impact on the price of steem even for a little while @c0ff33a
But I think Korean-based new exchange will have a great impact on steem's price.
Absolutely anything that helps Steem gain value has to be good - I will have to find some more information on this Korean exchange.
