What’s your favorite writing topic? Why? challenge30days Day Fourteen

Accounting is my favorite topic to write about even though I do not do it now. I am an accountant with all the degrees and letters behind my name and worked in that field for many years. Most of that time I was writing for accountants and other professionals, creating procedures manuals, and writing about other business and finance related topics. My specialties were US Federal Taxation, Health Care Accounting, and Forensic Accounting.

I am good at the work and can explain it well and enjoyed it while I did it. But then this weight loss thing came up and changed my whole life. I sometimes think about that fat accountant I used to be. Competent, well-paid, and so obese and sick that I could barely function.

I will take this life of thin poverty any day. But I do miss the writing since it came easy to me and I could be proud of it. Luckily I am a writer, I’ve always been a writer, and I will write happily no matter what the topic is.
