Announcing the First Illustration Challenge by @celfmagazine [Calling all Artists!]
CELF Community + Curation
@celfmagazine is a bilingual (Español + English) curation project powered by Steem. CELF aims to build a decentralized community model of growth with a focus on culture, literature, art and engagement.
The CELF curation project held its first community challenge over the summer with a call to creative writers. This first writing challenge was an effort to draw out more collaboration amongst Steemians in addition to draw the spotlight towards a new curation project - @celfmagazine! And now, we're on to the heavily anticipated Part 2. We are happy to announce and collaboratively host another contest, this time for all illustrators and artists on Steem.
CELF Challenge Themes:
Steem is a powerful forum for global creativity. With this contest, we hope to introduce you to one of the most exciting new curation initiatives on the blockchain and incentivize you to partake in their first illustration challenge! The team at CELF + Sndbox are calling ALL illustrators on the blockchain, regardless of genre or style. The participants must make an art piece inspired on the winning writings of the first writing challenge by CELF. Here we have the winners and themes they had to choose:
Story | Author |
---|---|
Destination | @dreemsteem |
The Albatross | @raj808 |
Legacy | @gabriellecd |
Fireflies in my Heart, Hands in my Hair | @katrina-ariel |
Metaphors of a Bad Poet | @fernando.lubezki |

@yuyuqcorre
great! i have a question: it can be a traditional or digital or can be any technique we want to do it?
Great question - all techniques and all types of media are welcome for this art challenge!
Fantastic @sndbox. I love the idea of illustrating 'Metaphors of a Bad Poet' by @fernando.lubezki with an ephemeral art arrangement.
It's been a while since I've shared my work at Steemit and I feel particularly inspired by this initiative. 🙏
