Now, being as we are currently dealing with some serious hardfork issues, and the rewards are all flocked up, I'm choosing to believe that even if it appears that this tremendous vote will be lacking its usual oomph, that this appearance is an illusion. Because when it all gets sorted out, those pennies will be dollars.
Now. I do actually have a reason for this post beyond bragging about my coming night of powah. I need a couple of things from all of you!
I really liked the way @theregularguy went about it, making a post asking people to put in recommendations. And I'm looking for exactly that, with two specific criteria:
1)steemit newbies. If anyone knows someone who is just beginning, preferably sometime within the past several weeks, who definitely deserves some recognition, please put them in the comments below. And if you can find me someone doing great things that just started in the past few days, expect me to come check out your blog too.
2)steemit veterans. I want to see some names of the loyal people. The ones who have been here for some time but for whatever reason can get overlooked.

There is a newbie called @ogoowinner! i dont know if she will post when you are steering the whale though! Ofcourse, you can remember me in your kingdom as well. In general, i need your feedback. for the past weeks i have been trying to building like my small company on the blockchain to at least get the illusion or reality that i am making good use of myself and for humanity. the company will be complete in a few days i beleive as i have been experimenting with features that will form part of it, i have done unmean stweets with good feedback, i have done steemit hall of fame as well that works, then the once in a month gratitude initiative, i have also done two games, one where i hide pokemon on steemit and tell people to find it and #guessthecombo challenge with nice feedback but i am looking to add one more feature which was my motto from the onset on steemit, which to donate time; as time is dime and i dont have dime yet but i have a lorry load of time, to buy out time then donate it to inspire the inspirers of steemit. i have done amazing posts in the begining to start it, but didnt continue because those posts where technical and i usually have to read the entire posts of people. i found a simplified way to get to know each steemian especially now while the community is small and inspire as many as possible, so i did a post yesterday but it didnt get much feedback. i am thinking it may have to do with the hardfork thing but i am not sure. so i want to get your feedback. Please tell me if the concept is nice or great. i dont want to quit on it. This one is simplifed cos i can make it by reading their comments or interaction and not the entire blogposts and i can also add enough humor. PLEASE GIMME FEEDBACK!:

Thank you for the recommendation. I'm really sorry to learn about the denial of your visa, and think that you are probably right, the 'powers that be' are not enthusiastic about crypto currencies since it threatens there wealth and power.
I will definitely check out your links when I'm just a little less busy hon, I promise. I'm sure the lack of response has something to do with the hardfork, lots of people are confused and once more a little discouraged.

Santa Whale is comin..... to town!!
I am loyal and overlooked a lot and been here awhile LOL
I have told @htooms a few times, I just love this project a lot. It is so nice and uplifting.
There is a lot of stress here at times due to various problems, and this is a great great project.
Like others, I lost about $45 on the day before the HF happened, I look at things on my blog I head to bed, and then first thing in the morning -- I have seen a few answers on here about the changes, or when/what/how things will change and be replaced but I plan on just keeping decent content going up and being myself.
Other people I would like to see votes for and why:
@digicrypt -- he was the whale a few nites ago and did an amazing job spreading the love--- but frankly, I have a sense this youngster and new person here is going to be a nice addition to the community. IDK why, I just did the first night I "met" him here.
@cassidyandfranks -- because Frank is always chatting away and teaching solid crypto lessons and I do not think they are appreciated enough. And friendly and patient also!!!
have a fun whale nite, I would love for you to stop by my chimney being the Santa whale if you find time. The whale flagging some decent posts lately for no real good reason, can be seen there also. No high paying posts, just Bernie flagging stuff and ruining nice fun memes for people.

I think that he falls under the amount of sp that they flag for. I know about the clock, I think he said it's either four hours or once I've used up fifteen percent of his voting power :)
