The Jwalamukhi Temple of Mata Rani is In the Kangra Valley of Himachal Pradesh known as the temple of Jwalamukhi, the Goddess with flaming mouth.
In the temple there is a copper pipe through which natural gas from the inner part of Earth comes out and the priest lights this. Because of this natural flame it's looks like it's a volcano's mouth and this is taken as a manifestation of the Goddess Jwalamukhi.
The notable point of this temple is that in the main part of the temple or Garba Griha or houses has no deities. The Goddess Jwalamukhi is worshipped in the form of the flames that come out from the crevices of the rock. The temple is also considered to be one of the 52 Shakti Peethas which are among the parts of Mata Sati and very sacred among the Hindu Community.
