🗞 China Central Bank Official: Digital Yuan Should Have ‘Controllable Anonymity’

China’s proposed new stablecoin project should strike a balance between protecting privacy and regulatory enforcement, China’s Digital Currency Research Institute said Tuesday.

Within the People’s Bank of China (PBOC), the Digital Currency Research Institute is part of the central bank’s payments division.

Speaking at a conference in Singapore, Changchun Mu said the central bank will not seek full control of users’ personal details, while fulfilling authorities’ need for information, according to a report by Reuters.

🗞 Alibaba Subsidiary Ant Financial Tests Its Enterprise Blockchain

WThe financial technology subsidiary of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba, Ant Financial, started testing its enterprise blockchain platform.

According to local news outlet Sina Finance on Nov. 12th, the senior director of technology and business innovation at Ant Financial, Jieli Li, announced the development at the World Blockchain Summit at Wuzhen. The firm’s plans to launch its own blockchain platform were first reported in September last year.

During the event, Li said that the platform — dubbed Ant Blockchain Open Alliance — will go live three months after the testing period. The platform aims to support small and medium-sized businesses by allowing them to cut costs and expand their reach.

🗞 HTC Will Support Binance Chain With Special Edition Smartphone

Smartphone developer HTC plans to provide support for Binance Chain with a new special edition version of its blockchain mobile.

The company announced Tuesday that it would release an EXODUS 1 smartphone that integrates with crypto exchange Binance’s namesake blockchain, providing support for its decentralized exchange and token.

The EXODUS 1 Binance edition will integrate Binance Chain with the device’s native Zion Vault wallet app, according to the announcement. Essentially, users will be able to directly access the Binance DEX using the phone.

🗞 Abra Adding 60 New Cryptocurrencies in Consumer Adoption Push: Report

California-based cryptocurrency wallet and investment service Abra is adding a total of 60 new cryptocurrencies to its platform, reports suggest.

According to CoinDesk on Nov. 12, the increasingly widespread payment gateway is planning to more than treble its existing crypto offerings for international users from 30 to 90 tokens.

Four stablecoins to debut on Abra platform

Four stablecoins including Tether (USDT), Paxos Standard (PAX), TrueUSD (TUSD) and Dai (DAI) will reportedly be among the new tokens.

Restrictions remain for United States residents, who are unable to hold Qtum (QTUM), Bitcoin Gold (BTG), EOS (EOS), OmiseGo (OMG) and Status (SNT) on Abra’s platform.

🗞 BitGo Says Now Processing 20% of Bitcoin Transactions

Director for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Christopher Wray testified before the Senate Homeland Security Committee at a hearing on security threats facing the United States.

BitGo is processing more than 20 percent of bitcoin transactions, the company said at CoinDesk’s Invest: NYC conference today.

The announcement by the crypto custodian and issuer of hot and cold storage wallets means that a sizable share of on-chain transactions pass through its services, a sign of consolidation, and power, in the crypto space.

It also raises questions about market collapse: If BitGo goes down, would those assets be at risk? But when asked that question directly, BitGo CEO Mike Belshe, on stage at “The Shape of Things to Come: Crypto Custody in a Proof-of-Stake World” panel, said there was nothing to fear.

The support line at 0.138$ has been tested for the third time and again we have a nice bounce from it. All these tests should stop soon because we will finish to break that support line as no one is indestructible. Anyway, let's not be negative and let's hope that this third bounce will be the good one, a powerfull one which will bring us on the resistance line at 0.155$.
