Crypto Market Update: MOONSHOTS /Growth Continue: + ~$20B/ 7 Days. | Markets Shakeout Ongoing. | Huge Market Swings w. Growing Stability in Places - ~$170B Market Cap | 10-15-2017. | Brief Overview & Perspective.
After the latest market corrections (aka Crypto on Sale Prices!) down around $40B over a few days, which took us from the ATH range of $180B Market Cap on sept. 2nd ..... we dumped again after a recovery was started and now a few days (more) of SOME stability and steady gains mostly tied to Bitcoin -- and some other sectors/coins.
Sort of.
That DUMPENING and stability has continued based on original FUD news out of China / Korea -- and the FUD, news and related market response in the markets continue.
Questions linger in every market and region on interference by regulators who seek to tax and ruin everything they touch, as usual since government cannot sustain itself.
As such, I am noticing government regulation and harassment seem to ramp up across the sector/crypto space.

~21 days ago, ( 9/24/2017) on my last update in THIS particular series - that market cap number was UP to $129B - something most of us were glad to see. It was down to $119B just about 4 days before.
~14 days ago on my update here for 10-1-2017, 2017 and the Markets were still up and down for the last few days now after that BLEEDING out. Market Cap for total Crypto was $149B.
~7 days ago on 10/8/2017 -- after an up and down week -- we are at $152B total market cap for crypto.
TODAY: We had massive gains this week as just mentioned up to the ~$177B range earlier this weekend -- with a pullback overnight again/the last day or so back down into the $169B range.
I like slow and steady for things like this I have said many times.
Boring and stable attracts less volatility, and less government harassment and not many would disagree with this who understand policy and governance -- finance or otherwise.
We are UP ~$50B in ~21 days since my last 3 reports in this series. I do other updates/series also, as you may know.

That means in ~25 to 30 days recently, we had lost btw. $30 and ~$60B in market cap depending on which day you are using as a point of reference, since it is up and down, every other day like a yoyo. (Sept. 2nd ATH of $180B market cap)

In the recent past - and hopefully again -- we HAVE BEEN continually seeing records and ATH's (all time highs) being broken every single day, sometimes, within minutes or hours of something being broken!
Sept. 2nd - we saw ATH's in Market Cap and BTC/Crypto's:
On Sept. 2nd -- we were all MOONING with BTC right on the razor's edge of breaking $5k USD (in some markets it did) - and the huge ATH of (nearly!!) breaking the $180B market cap here:
Sometimes, this involves pullbacks or corrections. I rarely use the word "crash" as many of you know.
We are doing OK. This is what I have always said in all my posts / updates.
Look at the huge general uptrend. The Charts are above and below for reference.
Always use a 1 month and 3 month chart to gain your perspective. Longer if needed. Look at the trend lines.
-- I think like others we have been overdue for corrections in the markets.
But I do not think any of us forsaw the epic FUD news out of China (and then some Korea news similarly) coming - since they have banned crypto and unbanned it SO MANY TIMES.
Bitcoin and Crypto in general - has rebounded quicker each time with that news over time... it has been amazingly resilient!
We need to remember we are all still early adopters here and the markets and new people/money are finding their way here with us.

We will be back there soon enough and upwards folks, it takes time to ride out some of the FUD and bad news (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt) etc.
Corrections started BEFORE Sept 8th, 2017 - but the markets consistently dumped down to (now) Sept. 14th at the huge new low of ~$119B.
It took us roughly 40 days, in btw. the $180B Sept 2nd ATH in Market Cap to get back to near that range, around Oct. 13th/14th after some dips. The markets shook out for 40 days. Seems to me the bible had stories about people being in dry times in the desert for 40 days, now I type this.... right??
Remain Calm. History is on our side here.
