Belgium Beers #9 - Barbãr - An ale with honey from Belgium -
Barbãr - The honey lover
Today I had another wonderful beer from Belgium.
My posts about Belgium Beers got a new cover picture theme. Hope you like the art and thanks to @skyleap woh did the nice painting for me.
Nice bottle different taste
The bottle style is like the famous German Flensburger beer, where I was grown up with.
But the sweet taste from the honey is different but luckely not to sweet.
My little tasting session
Today I put a Barbãr into the fridge and now at evening time, I celebrate a little tasting session with this beer, myself and all the Steemians who read this.

Bottle at home. Pours a orange colour with a small white head. Tastes sweet, but not too sweet. Tastes bitter, but not too bitter. It makes you feel warm inside, however, the honey smoothly covers the taste of alcohol. Together with its bottle and glass, this beer is an experience perfect for a cold autumn's night.

Creamy head & powerful aroma
Found this at the Brasserie Lefebvre and had a big smile.
Deep blonde in colour, Barbãr’s creamy head gives off a powerful aroma, unobtrusively scented with honey and accompanied by a bouquet of floral, spicy and citrus notes..
Description of Barbãr
Since 1996 Barbãr, an ale with honey, is available. This beer will please you with its malt taste and subtle flavour of honey. The Barbãr is brewed using water drawn from artesian wells on the site of the brewery, at Quenast, a small village to the south of Brussels. This area is well-known for the quality and the diversity of its beers.

The Barbãr beer is prepared from a top secret and harmonious mixture of barley malts, hops and honey. All this is carefully selected by the Barbãr Master Brewer.
The traditional brewing method, associated with our unique strain of yeast, and the secondary fermentation in the bottle, gives Barbar beer the typical and authentic flavour of a very special ale.

Tell you what, those Belgian beers are strong! But great, of course. Do you have a favourite country in terms of beers or more of a mixture?
All the belgium areas are great beer areas. If you ask for a wider range, there are many great places for beer around the globe.

Only possible with the help from a good old friend I met in the social network world some time ago on TSU.
