Here's what the Lunation Chart looks like this month.
The Lunation in Scorpio

So here are the positive things
about this Lunation chart.

  • The Lunation partners are moving into a conjunction with Jupiter.
  • The Lunation is sextile to Pluto in Capricorn.
  • The Lunation is trine to Neptune in Pisces.
  • Mars mediates the Venus / Uranus opposition.

Problems in this Lunation?

  • Venus in Libra still retrograde and still opposes Uranus in Aries.

Not bad, huh? Definitely one of those "big changes bring big improvements" moments.

New Moon Issues

Personal Focus ---> Scorpio is one of the most complex signs in the Zodiac. Only Pisces has it beat. Taking out the trash -- and getting ready to create more always takes plenty of effort. And when Scorpio comes, you have to consider all this and some other themes, too. Some or all of this will be part of the coming month's business.

  • Investments -- combining or revising resources / things you create with your talents and property and other people, too.
  • Recycling -- making things serviceable again, pulling things you've set aside (or discarded) back and using them.
  • Releasing -- letting go of things that have served their purpose, that are exhausted, inappropriate, obsolete, etc.
  • Reintegrating -- often this involves dealing with "other people's property" -- such as reclaimed capital, inheritances, joint assets.
  • Discovering -- finding new, previously hidden or inaccessible information, discovering answers to secret and mysteries.
  • Confronting -- facing The Truth, admitting things you've tried to gloss over or ignore or rationalize.
  • Adjusting -- assessing how you've changed, who you are now, what you want, where you're going, how you propose to get there.
  • Rebuilding -- replacing things (including you) with new and improved versions that serve your purposes much better.

Mercury Issues

Intellectual Interests ---> Along with all the changes and endings, this marks an exciting time of new growth, new learning, new opportunities and better prospects. It may take a week or so, but your energy levels will rise, along with your self-confidence and eagerness to start a new development phase that brings both a lot of promise and a lot of interest.

This is one of the best charts we have had in a while regarding practical, discernible life improvements -- and the better frame of mind that comes with it. (In fact, it's so good, you may have to be careful not to overdo things once you get on a roll.)

There is a ton of artistic and creative energy in these aspects (mentioned above) ... and the added course correction toward your new Life Direction is evident and impressive! Do figure out what you want to do and where you want to go from here -- because the momentum to move forward quickly is clearly behind you. That's a great place for it to be.

Venus Issues

Values, Relationships, Support Systems, Property ---> We're still in the final days of reassessing relationships, values, possessions, property interests and income sources. It's time to get rid of what isn't working for you -- because you don't want to be encumbered with a lot of useless junk (and certainly connections to ineffective, parasitical people!!) when it's time to launch your new incarnation. The separation energy here is pretty strong -- and chances are, if you don't call it quits, the other person will. Take your choice.

The next item on this agenda -- once Venus goes direct and moves back into Scorpio (December 2) is to decide who your new "investment partners" will be. This means assessing people with talents or other forms of useful wealth that can add to or enhance yours, people with similar goals and ambitions, people who are ready to go places and are up for you traveling together. Obviously you have a while still to get this lined up and hammered out -- but don't take forever.

Mars Issues

Action ---> As I mentioned, Mars changes signs in a few days (finally, finally -- on November 15) -- moving from independent Aquarius into creative, contemplative Pisces. The experimentation, progressive tactics and insistence on doing things your way that you've practiced for the past six months have taught you some valuable new lessons on managing Life.

It's time to take those back to your workshop now, pull out some new creative ventures, commune with your Higher Self on how to apply them -- and get ready to start some energetic new projects when Mars moves home to Aries on New Year's Eve. So far this coming year looks like it could make up for some of the real crappy ones we've "enjoyed." Don't quote me yet -- I still have more research to do. But at the moment, I'm pretty excited.

May The Force be with us all!! For a change!!

Thank you for stopping by!

If you've always known there was more to Astrology than Sun Sign material and the three line daily horoscope in the newspaper, climb aboard and follow this blog. You'll find a world of wisdom detailing how you were designed to work with life ... and why you are the way you are -- all in quick-to-read, easy-to-digest-and-remember, written-in-plain-English essays that offer plenty of food for thought.

Little by little, I'm doing a set of articles that talks about all the elements in your horoscope and what they have to say about you. If you "know something" about Astrology -- or know something about your chart placements, that will help you get more from this material.

If you don't ... well, this is one place you can learn. We all have to start somewhere ... because we aren't born knowing this stuff. Meanwhile, if you've never seen your horoscope ... and don't have a clue how to work with it, maybe it's time to find out. There are lots of "chart services" on the internet -- some of whom produce decent, readable charts "for free" and some are so awful and confusing that even I can't read them easily -- and I've worked with charts for decades.

One extremely user-friendly chart site is here: AstroLabe. I recommend them if you want a simple, easy-to-read chart. I think they even give a reasonable little interpretive reading of your horoscope as part of the package. You'll need to know your birth information -- day, month, year, time and geographical place. Without all that your chart will have limited accuracy.

Or, if you want to get serious and really talk about this, upvote this post and start a conversation in the comments section sometime in the next six days from the time of publication. We'll go from there depending on what you want to know.

Questions about any of this? -- Upvote this post and talk to me in comments. It's a terrific way to build value for yourself and the community ... and it will give me ideas of what to write about in future posts. Believe me there is lots to say about the way The Sun, The Moon -- and all the other elements in a horoscope, all the other components of Astrology -- work together to interpret you and your story -- and what it all means to the person you've become.

This is who I am.

About the art in our visual essays ...

Although sometimes the background pictures in our visual essays support the topic and text, they don't always. Sometimes the connection is clear. Sometimes it's symbolic and subtle. Sometimes, there's no connection at all.

The scenes depict landscapes and natural features, buildings and wildlife. They were chosen because they show something lovely or interesting ... or simply because the photo appealed to me.

Our spectacular and remarkable planet is changing at astonishing speed. Rarely are these changes for the better. Few people seem to know ... or care ... or have the will and power to do anything about this. It may not be long before the world humans have known and lived in for centuries is forever lost. We certainly won't be able to make repairs as fast as we destroyed it.

So a few years ago I began collecting pictures of the way things were ... and still are for now, a record of the beauty we have while it is still ours to love and honor.

The photos here are part of that collection, with sincere thanks to the artists who saw these moments ... and with their cameras ... preserved them. All of us at Enchanted Spirit are profoundly grateful to them for their generosity and skill ... and for the added grace, depth and dimension their art brings to ours.
