Steemit Art Centre!! Tuesday's Update - Come and See What is New
Welcome to the new 'Steemit Art Centre'.
So, what is new today?
I've added a new section where we can give exposure to articles we write about our favourite artists. Just drop a link to your post in the replies section below and I will add a summary, link to the full post and image.
Here's one from me:
Claude Monet has been one of my favourite painters since I first saw his work. Follow the link to see how much I love Monet. It is my tribute!
Here is the link:
We can now alert visitors to our posts about famous/favourite artists so that gives more exposure.
Do you have any more ideas about exposure. I still need your ideas, please.
What would help you with exposure for your art?
Exposure is important because the more your art is seen, the more followers you will attract and, in turn, that brings more upvotes and income for you.
We have the Steemit Art Centre Gallery running now, albeit only three artists have exhibits in it but it's there for everyone.
Please use the Gallery and tell me any more ideas you have that might benefit us.
The interview with the artist, @MagicCleatus was very well received. Please read it :)
This interview falls into the 'must-read' category. @MagicCleatus is a valued contributor to the Artstorm Contests and hosts his own Zen Colouring Contest, so many of you will know him already. Why not read this interview and get to know more about him?
Here is the link to the interview post:
Don't forget to read Part 2 of our fascinating interview with @organduo where he speaks about the future of Steemit and much, much more.
Here is the link:
Part 1 was a great read so, I hope you will follow this link to read it if you haven't already:
Read about his artistic background, how Pinky and Spiky came about and much more. You are bound to be impressed by this talented Steemian. We are lucky to have him as an artist!
Here is information about using the Steemit Art Centre Gallery:
We are making a gallery of our artwork. Eventually, it will have its own post and a link on here but that would need people to want to display their art in it. One piece of artwork doesn't make a gallery, haha!
For now, any artists who want to display their work in the Steemit Art Centre Galley should make their own post with the artwork they want to display then drop a link here like you do in Artstorm. That will enable me to display it. You can display one piece of artwork every 7 days.
It also means you get income from your own post.
The first artwork in the gallery follows:
Entitled 'Friday Night! Woman on the town getting telepathic messages from her pets to come home.'

Our second submission to the Steemit Art Centre gallery is one of @lildebbiecakes trad artworks. In Artstorm, we know her for her digital art so it's lovely to see how versatile she is.
The artwork is entitled, 'Inner Peace'.
