Puddle Jumper - [original art - watercolor] (Entry for artexplosion 16)
This is my entry for the contest offered by @juliakponsford for Art Explosion 16:
The thing I like best about watercolor is how the colors will seamless mix together and you'll get every shade between those colors as well! Watercolor is also very unpredictable and that can make it fun too.
I've also started a new initiative called "Learn Art with Me" where I will go into much more detail on the steps I take in my art and to hopefully teach some people who are intested in learning art!

I was wondering what colour you'd use to fill in the child in the raincoat.
A black silhouette is nice.
Cool to think that the splashing water from the puddle has made it
to the page from that far away.
yeah I was debating a few different things for the child, but I decided to go with the silhouette and I think it turned out pretty well. Yeah, it was quite the jump! lol
