Nocturn Episode 7 - a Painting based Adventure Game for Steemit: "One o' Clock". 7 SBD in prizes

Night falls. Is this real or did you just wake up in a dream? The story continues...

In short: I post a dark, mysterious painting with an accompanying storyline. Within (+/-) 24 hours, anybody can choose one of 2 options on how the story continues: by upvoting an option or making a comment on what you would do. The most upvoted or commented option after (+/-) 24 hours of posting will determine the way the story continues and which painting I will post next. Have fun!

Episode 7: "One o' Clock"

Ouch, what the hell happened!? You find yourself in a strange room - you can't remember how you got here - never mind where 'here' actually is. The last thing you recall was pouring yourself a white wine, in the company of the Ghost of the Wine-Cellar (option 1°).

Then things got blurry real quick. Yes - the white wine was exquisite and the company of George (which you now remember was the Ghost's name) was actually great fun. You remember the bottle being empty and opening another one. Getting sloshed with a ghost was great, until you mentioned you needed to find the portrait of one ghost called Laura. George suddenly became angry and shouted: "Then what are you still doing here in the cellar? The portrait's up in the attic! Get going, before the night is over!" You sprang to your feet, but stumbled and fell, bumping your drunk head against a wine-rack. All went black.

You now find yourself in this strange room, unable to remember who or what brought you here - there is only some green goo on your clothes which wasn't there before. Your head still hurts a bit but then, from somewhere in a room beneath you a clock strikes once, and you realize you have to get going. It is One o' Clock.

A thin and transparant figure appears in the room, but remains silent. Its body stretches out and shows you two options out of here: you can climb up trough the dark chimney, or follow the bright gateway to the right of you. Now is the dead of night - the morning will soon start approaching. Better find that portrait or leave the castle empty-handed. What will you do?

Option 1: Crawl upwards through the chimney in front of you.
Option 2: Follow the bright gateway on the right.
