Nocturn - a painting-based adventure game for Steemit. Episode 2: "Nine o' Clock"
Night falls. Is this real or did you just wake up in a dream? The story continues...
In short: I post a painting of a nocturnal, mysterious painting with a short accompanying story. I leave you with 2 options on how the story can continue: you can upvote an option or make a comment on what you would do. The most popular option after (approximately) 24 hours of posting will determine the way the story continues. Have fun!

Episode 2: "Nine o' Clock, A Bell Rings "
After meeting the strange family, you decide that your best option is to accept going along in this surreal dream -- but to do it on your own terms (option 3°).
You see that the family lives up ahead in a castle, but rather than taking the main entrance, you sneak around the back to see if you can find another way inside. And yes, you find two doors: one looks like the servant's entrance; the other leads to a porch. In the distance, a clock strikes 9 times. As you glance up, you see a figure in one of the windows on the second floor, looking at you. You cannot discern whether this person is a man or a woman, friend or foe. The dark figure just stares at you.
And then you see another figure floating along the walls - a phantom mist with a ghostly head crawling slowly towards the window. Your minds races as your body starts to sweat from this otherworldly weirdness. Do you try to help the person in the castle? Or are you assured things will turn out alright?
Option 1: Knock on the servant's entrance door - maybe somebody can help here!?
Option 2: Enter the castle through the porch. Hmm... You hear a sweet, etheric voice coming from there...

Hmm.. Still no votes or comments on any option. Tell you what, if nobody has made a choice for 12 hours after this post, I'll let the dice decide again how the story continues...
