Welcome to the first post of Nocturn - a painting based adventure-game in which you can decide which way the story goes.
In short: I post a painting of a nocturnal, mysterious painting with a short accompanying story. I leave you with 3 options on how the story can continue: you can upvote or comment on one of three options. The most popular option after 24 hours of posting will determine the way the story continues. Have fun!

Episode 1: "Dramatis Personae"
Night falls. A curtain slowly opens before your dreary eyes. Is this real or did you just wake up in a very weird dream?
Five figures stand before you, silently staring at you in the shimmering light of the sunset. "A very strange cast," you ponder, "I wonder what will happen tonight."
It feels as if your body is tied to a theatre-seat, but what you see in front of you is just as untangible as a dream. Or a nightmare. You can't feel your body, except the tips of your fingers that are wriggling in the air. You think: "What are my options here?" and quickly, your mind decides you can
Option 1: Leave - anywhere is better than here.
Option 2: Accept and go along with these people into their world.
Option 3: Accept, but sneak away and explore their world on your own.

Some more info: this is a text/paintings-based adventure that has been online at Blogger since april 2014. The idea isn't new, although I haven't made any promotion for it, and I am aware this is similar to @papa-pepper's steempocalypse. I explain why it is not so here. All content is © @marty-art.
Any- and everybody can upvote the option of his or her choice, at any day - you don't need to sign up and can vote as you please any day (although after a post is 24 hours old, your upvote or comment will not have any effect on the developing of the story). Players cannot die, or fail, only choose - the most popular option will then continue the storyline.
I will reward the most consistent upvoters and commenters. I cannot tell you how much sbd or what-else I will reward, as I have no idea where this adventure is taking you and me! Let us just enjoy!
