Inktober day 16 - Wild

Today I have made a small drawing, not even close to the previous posts in complexity. The Inktober word is "Wild" and I have chosen to make the two wild men from the Danish Royal Arms.

Today's words is: "Wild."

Wild Men.

The basic coat of arms of Denmark is three blue lions on a golden background and surrounded by red hearts.

But the larger version has two wild men as supporters (the creatures holding the shield - England for example has a lion and a unicorn). Clad in oak leaf and holding large clubs. As a Dane I have of course grown up with the sight of these two fellas, but they still struck me as somewhat peculiar. In the end of the Danish comic, Thorfinn from the seventies, the book ends with the main character, Thorfinn, actually meeting the wild men and their tribe on the last frame.
