Ocean of Art 11: Dive in and discover some promising new Steemit artists / Minnowsupport Curation Team
In my continued effort to promote and improve the artistic community here on Steemit I am doing a weekly curation! Most of the artists I have chosen are still minnows and are waiting to be discovered and others that I will feature have just plain impressed me!
In this post @voronenka does a step by step tutorial for creating a landscape in watercolours! The post is very informative and the result is beautiful!

This post is sooooo helpful to me! Thank you Julia for your continuous hard work on making Steemit a rewarding, thriving place for artists and other Steemians! My dream is to learn watercolor, and I hoped to find someone on Steemit from whom I could learn to paint... and then there's your helpful post with @voronenka in it, with a landscape tutorial- exactly what I was looking for. I'm so pleased! Thank you! Also it's great that you keep the descriptions short and sweet! I'm looking forward to more of your posts and as a beginner artist here on Steemit I will do my best to follow your advice and join you on Discord. I'm going to read your guide comic now. We should all help promote each other that is what makes us strong as a group :) I know what you mean about working in a vacuum on other social media platforms I never found much interaction, but on Steemit there is an interesting vibe happening, it's exciting!
I feel that energy and am impressed with the level of selflessness demonstrated here; this is something I have not found on other platforms where the dog eats dog mentality rules. I recently reached out to my followers/contacts on FB suggesting we work as a cooperative and not one person replied - duh! We are all much stronger in a supportive and reciprocative community.
