A Daily Dose #40: What Difference Is! 🖐
How are you all doing my fellow Steemians! Imawreader here! I would like to share another artwork and an interesting quote from my 'A Daily Dose' series following my previous post A Daily Dose #39: Character vs. Reputation!

You woke up in this what we call world, not really certain what you need to do and why. You begin to question yourself, but didn't found any convincing answers.
Suddenly, there's an urge to talk to people around. But you are afraid to because they don't look the same like you. You begin to look for someone else who is similar to you, but you failed because you didn't realize that we're all different. We all have differences.
Still, you continued looking unaware that people around you are starting to avoid you. You became confused with all what is happening. Everyone started to judge you. But hey, you judged them first.
And now the feeling of loneliness is oozing to your body. You want someone beside you to embrace you, but not take pity on you. But no one can because you thought them they can't.
Out of nowhere, you heard a child's voice say "hello". Tears fall and you start to ask yourself "why".
Racism has always been a barrier that keeps people from having each other. Racists judge based on physical appearance. Racism can be stopped with a simple "hello".
Why do you think our differences are made to realize our need of one another?

I am one that really relates to your posts. Are you familiar with Ekphrasis? It is the process of providing commentary to a visual work of art. I appreciated it so much I've conducted two exhibitions for it.

Yes, we collaborated with our local poets society and experimented with the collab. We called the first exhibit just Ekphrasis in 2016. Then we had such a great response that we had to do it again. Sorry, we as in Central Texas Artist Collective. (CTAC). But mostly just my co-founding partner and I. So in 2017 we applied the theme mental health calling it An Exploration of the Mind Body Soul.
