A Daily Dose #39: Character vs. Reputation! 😶
How are you all doing my fellow Steemians! Imawreader here! I would like to share another artwork and an interesting quote from my 'A Daily Dose' series following my previous post A Daily Dose #38: What are your Biggest Regrets?

You thrive in a community and wishes to get noticed. You want to build your identity, your own mark. You aim high to be with the greats. But often, you forget who you are.
Driven by your reason why you started, you sometimes become anybody else, far different from who you really are.
Becoming reputable can be good, but forgetting your character can be fatal. Anybody would notice a change in you. You might start to have lots of new acquaintances, but you'll never know whom will trust you and who you will trust in return.

I loved the artwork. It’s beautiful and lovely depicting images it tries to portray one’s feelings about life.
And as Abraham Lincoln once said, “Character is like a tree and reputation like a shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.”
You were right about that. We sometimes think of our reputation a very important asset but what we often forget is the changes in our character as we are building our reputation. It shouldn't be neglected.
