My Painting: Plum flower 梅花的画法 一

In severe winter，when all of the flowers have withered away,the plum blossom will begin to bloom and this is its time to shine. The plum blossom is tender, not gorgeous, blooming against the wind and snow, and has its unique character. From ancient times to now, it has been popular for our people.

I took some photos of plum blossom when I was in YunNan Province, where there were many beautiful flowers,including the plum blossom. They were white, red,looked pretty pure against the blue sky.

Today I would like to share with you guys the painting--plum flower, which is also one of important subject of Chinese painting, and I also feel difficult. Hope you enjoy it and have a nice weekend !

寒冬腊月，在所有百花都谢幕的时候，不畏严寒的梅花闪亮登场了。它娇而不艳，迎风傲雪，有着自己特有的一种高贵品质。自古以来就深受我们国人喜爱。我曾在云南的时候拍了很多梅花，有红的，白的，在蓝蓝的天空下，更显得格外纯净。

今天就给大家分享一下国画里梅花的画法。

梅花以枝干为主的花，枝干画好了，整体看起来就有一种气势。

Material 工具：

Chinese brushes 毛笔 3只
Chinese painting color 国画颜料
Xuan Paper (raw) 生宣纸
Chinese ink 墨汁
wool felt 羊毛毡
small tray for washing brushes 笔洗

The Process:

先画枝干。出枝一般在根部，或者尖部，两端的地方，中间尽量少出，这样显得很舒展。
出枝方法，古人很有研究，把它形容成如写“女”字。

而且枝出四歧，四歧即四枝。就是一颗树干从上，下，左，右，四面八方出枝，那么这棵树就会显得非常立体，生动。当然大自然所有事物都千奇百怪，千篇一律未免太枯燥，也容易产生审美疲劳。找到最奇特的那种，就会让人耳目一新。

还要有开有合，开合之美。越走越远叫开，越走越近叫合。
枝干留有一些空白，粗的留空，是为了让细的穿过。细的留空就是让花的，给花留出空间和位置。

梅花有五瓣，所以也叫五福花。

画花的时候，可以直接用颜料画花，再用墨点花蕊。也可以直接用淡墨勾花，再用其他颜色点染。

我今天这次画的采用的是淡墨勾花，然后用曙红点染红梅。

用草绿和三绿点染 绿梅。

梅花就完成了！
