It’s been a busy first half of my week.
I was drawing a little everyday but I didn’t have time to finish/post or think about what to post.
Today, I decided to put aside what I have to do and make a post!
Sorry...my to do list...you’d have to wait XD
The photo below is what I’m working on right now.
You might recognize it because it was the piece that I drew about 5 months ago.
HERE is the post.
I decided to work on it again because I didn’t know how to add shading very well back then so I left it not quite finished.
I’ve been taking some lessons how to draw/colour digitally, I thought I could use this drawing to try out what I’ve learned so far.

ネタもない！
それでも今日は、私のやることリストにはちょっと待ってもらって、投稿することにしました。下の写真は、今、私が描いているイラストです。
5ヶ月ほど前に描いたものなので、見覚えがある方もいるかと思います。
その時の投稿はこちら です。
今でもそうなのですが、なんと言っても影入れが苦手で、思うように仕上げられなかったイラストです。
最近お絵描きのレッスンを受けて、デジタル塗りがちょっと分かってきたので、練習するのにちょうどいいかなと思い、掘り出してきましたw
In the lesson, I learned to draw cleaner lineart.
The photo below is my 5 months old lineart.
If you zoom, you can see how messy it is.
お絵描きのレッスンでキレイな線画の描き方を覚えました。
下の線画は5ヶ月前のものです。
ズームすると、線がヨレヨレしているのが分かります。
This is new me!...I mean my new lineart!
I’m very excite to see the improvement.
Although...I should have used finer brush...I thought it was finer but hmmmmm....
This is done with G-pen size 4 on Clip Studio.
If any of you have advice I’m more than happy to hear.

When I drew this 5 months ago, I thought it looked good but noooooo!!!! It’s scary!
Especially the way I added shading.
Why didn’t anybody mention me about this? LOL
Anyways, I’ll keep working on.

影の付け方がこわいです。
なぜ誰も指摘してくれなかったのか？笑
とりあえず、頑張って仕上げようと思います。
今描いているイラストを見て笑う日も来るのかもしれませんが…w

I think you are doing super well, @djynn!!! I love your lineart, and the new lines are so delicate and lovely :D Also I like the colours so far :D The skin is shaded nicely and softly and I like the hair and the flowers <3 <3 <3

I really like your delicate boy with flower :D. And even better now that you redraw it in Clip Studio. Advice for lineart? Hmm, mine is also pretty messy, but work in a high resolution and then shrink the finished result will make the lineart looks prettier, I think.

You have said your previous works are scary, but, to tell you the truth, i don't see why:) for me they look fine too, but maybe it's because of my lack of knowledge in this sphere, better to say total absence if knowledge:)) i dont see any disadvantages, so for ordinary readers the work is just wow!
People who can draw digital pictures were always like magicians for me, I wanted to study it, but I didn't believe I would succeed.
Is there any connection between real painting skills and digital painting? So if I cant draw in the paper, can I draw such a nice anime boy in the PC?

I think it would be easier if you already have a skill of drawing on paper, especially colouring.
I’m new to drawing...about 3 years...started drawing on paper with pencil and ballpoint pen, and moved on to digital drawing about 6 months ago. Colouring is very new to me so I’m very confused XD
If you want to try some drawing on pc or tablet, there are many interesting drawing apps you can get. It’s fun ;)

I feel great interest to painting and different techniques now, and I was so surprised by some of them! For example, I never could imagine that colous in painting are more important than forms. The colour can show emotions and transfer the idea bette than just the form even if it's perfect. Or intuitive painting! Absolutely amazing! The kind of painting for those who can't draw at all;) oh, it's the special world ... and that's why painters for me are magicians, and you too!;))
