Nude or Blot Conspiracy

A painting with a mere lady, which was shown to be a great art-minded audience, often called for a stir in art history.

A famous example was in the second half of the 19th century. The artist Eduard Manet painted a naked woman between two contemporary dressed gentlemen. This painting titled 'Le Déjeuner sur l'Herbe' caused a huge scandal in Paris in 1863. What did the men actually do about the painting with that naked woman? And was the woman naked or bare? You will say there is a difference between nude and exposed? However, this distinction is of great importance whether the painting was accepted by the public or not.

Women without clothes are painted throughout art history, even in the most prehistoric times. But then I have to briefly explain what the mystery of naked and exposed is.

Blot is indeed without clothes, ordinary mortals like you and me when we come from the shower during the morning. Naked, by contrast, are the gods and goddesses, they have never had clothing.
The imagery of nude in art is fully accepted at all times and we therefore have beautiful images of nude Greek and Roman deities. The portrayal of true existing bare women, how beautiful, was in the time of Manet 'not done'. Now, the question at 'Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe' remains whether the lady is being naked or impoverished? At first, Manet wanted to suggest that the woman represented a regular prostitute in the painting, but years later an art historian discovered that the inspiration of the figures in the painting was, among other things, an engraving of the Renaissance master Raphael. On the art of Raphael are gods seen during the famous story of 'The Judgment of Paris'. There is a striking resemblance to the composition between Raphael's old artwork and Manet's work. This would mean that Manet wanted to paint a goddess and then there would be no more scandal. Well, it's just how you look at it.
