Minnow Supporter is RESTEEMING your posts and will put you in a "Feature A Steemian" post

Post NicheClarityNoveltyFunLength
#Steemit, PromotionASA~700wrds

A new curation project, it's different than many other project in that it it's a work by one person, it isn't automated and offer incentive for minnows to upvote each other (those who vote posts he resteems would be will be featured once a while.)

The rules of what he'd resteem and for being featured are clear. And @minnowsupporter is fast to take/apply suggestions to the idea. Not sure if the initiative will succeed but I'll keep my eye on it.

Smash Bros. hits the Switch later this year and I don't really care. What’s wrong with me?

Heartfelt talk from a gamer father about a game he really enjoyed as a young adult but don't have the time to enjoy it with friends, he's excited for SMASH but not as thought he would. This and @ post in honorable section are good reads and made me ponder if I'd be the same in few years.

10 Quotes on Writing Mark Twain

#Writing QuotesBBS~300wrds

Few quotes from Mark Twain a famous 19th century author. Most of these are advises how to write better books but all of them are interesting.

Unlike other posts I choose where I try to pick up the most personal blogs, I choose this one because I read it at the right time.

GAMING. (A special post) "NO TO DISCRIMINATION IN GAMES"

ToxicGaming.jpg
by @rayken04

Post NicheClarityNoveltyFunLength
#Gaming CommunitiesABB+~750wrds

Here @rayken04 talks about discrimination (mostly against women,) and the lack of respect in the gaming community, sadly what she says is true. Even elites who pick on the weak newbies (though it's hard to play them due to noobs who think they know everything.)

It's a part of gaming community I wish we'd grow out of.

Honorable Mentions:

@vectorabbot's "The Walking Dead Season 2 - Episode 3: In Harm's Way"
He does LetsPlay videos on dTube, glad he mentioned how he bought TWD2 from me.

@w0011y's "Gaming and Family: 2.0"
Similar to @retro-room post above, @w0011y talks about being a gamer daddy.

~ Hope you liked today's Collection ~
I really should spend more time finding posts deserve curating... Oh, well.

Cover image is made by using the same image @rayken04 used in her post (I don't know the language but here's the source). All other images are taken from their respective posts.

  Good work. The articles are good, and I like your rating system, something different and fun.

Reading that last post makes me remember something. So my friend introduced me to his friend--a girl--a few years ago who played osu! a lot, that time I played that game a lot too. So we played together so often. Just when I thought the community of osu! wasn't toxic, a random guy proved me wrong. He entered the room and behave normally, until he found out that my friend is a girl and he revealed his true self, his shitty attitude. Hell, calling his attitude shitty would be an insult to shits. Not only he discriminated her (and me too, but I'm a dude), he was being... disgusting. You know how it is.

Anyway, nice post. Some interesting posts you mentioned here.

The sad part of being a gamer, when I look at cases like you described I feel those who hate games are justified (especially )

I would feel less comfortable playing with/against a girl online (more personal but partly cultural reasons,) well, but I'll never disrespect her.

if there's instant communication involved especially with voice I'll be uncomfortable with whoever I'm playing with, being on comments gives me time to choose my words but with instant communication/fast paced online makes me nervous and I can't talk and/or play right. (That's why I can play MMO RPG but not a shooter.)

By the way, I heard about osu before but didn't check about it, is it that rhythm game google search shows to me?

I often get nervous to talk in voice chat too, and you can't always type in the middle of combat. So when I can't type sometimes I just shout a word like "Now!", or "Watch out!", which makes it more awkward lol.

Yes, it's a rhythm game. A good one if you want to have a seizure..
