My Actifit Report Card: January 23 2019
An early start to my working day today, swapping two 60kg espresso machines around between two locations. It might seem a bit crazy - but my busy theatre customer, who purchased their espresso machine from a catering equipment company when they fitted they place out - have been unable to use the machine for two weeks because it sprung a leak inside which fried the control unit. I loaned them a hand filled single group machine to help our short term, but with forecasts of two more weeks for the parts to fix the machine they needed a better solution.
This is where they decided the nearby youth and community they also own, has an espresso machine in the kitchen they don’t use often - so swapping the two machines would solve the problems.
All they needed was someone experienced and capable to disconnect the hard wired machines from the mains, disconnect the cold water feeds, and move them around. That’s how I spent this morning pushing an espresso machine on a trolley down a cobbled street, and an hour later pushing a different one back up it.
