His thought provoking comment led me to write a post that I thought would be a good follow up, and really shows that there are many here at steemit for the CONTENT and to learn or help others learn. How we got from “awakening” to “flat earth” theories was surreptitious at best. I did not realize a modest ego could still be so enthralled with listening to itself. The point—no one owns the Truth— is well taken. Quantum physics goes so far as to suggest Truth does not exist at all until it is participated in by the observer. So the better point, I think, would be to make less effort in affirming ones perception, and more in understanding why one would have the predisposition to perceive things the way they do. The greater challenge is always understanding the Self. Don’t you find?

My entire reason for being here is to spread the TRUTH about our earth, so yes surrreptitious, is a perfect word. Flat Earth in the headline is a good recipe for either lots of ridicule or attracting people who already think the earth is flat and creating just an echo chamber.
Quantum physics and even if we LIVE in a SIMULATION are irrelavent to me, what I experience first hand IS my reality. To say that truth does not exist I am not capable of comprehending that. Is it true when I wake up I must eat or I will go hungry? Is it true that if I jump off a building my body will get smushed?
I think I may not be perceptive enough to make it to this level of understanding that you possess, my brother sounds much like you and I always have to ask him, I need tangible evidence, not theory. Flat earth is 100% real TO ME. The realization of Flat Earth HAS led me on a QUEST to improve myself 100%.
I stopped drinking alcohol 100%, I am a Born again Christian as of May 2nd 2017, I am fasting for I hope 40 days, (I am on day 3) this can be a very enlightening process itself. Most of my confusion in this world comes from the actions of humans that now that I have awakened, I just want people to wake up from their slavery induced comas to see that they have been conditioned to do MOST of what they do on a daily basis. Would you be surprised or interested if it turned out the earth truly was flat? You asked how we got from awakening to flat earth, I would say when you truly wake up you will KNOW that you do not live on a ball and that there IS a CREATOR. Flat Earth PROVES God and THAT is why it is being hidden.
While exploring Flat Earth I LEARNED EXACTLY what you point out is important, UNDERSTANDING why I perceive things the way I do. Ready? For starters I learned that my eyes perceive the world in a way VASTLY different then the way our brain receives the original the signal.
Once you understand better how your eyes work you will quickly come to the conclusion that ships don't sail "over" the horizon , and then once one solid CORE BELIEF FALLS it was like the matrix for me, EVERYTHING became OBVIOUS to me and I started seeing things that before my mind considered IMPOSSIBLE, so my consicioness has in my mind completely opened up allowing me to help find the "self". The true proof is I have NEVER felt more at peace in my life, in fact I never felt this way ever before. In the Bible it says those awake are given new eyes and a new heart and it is truly amazing and I would NOT have believed it if it did not happen too me.
Thanks for your thoughts, and I just may not be capable of being open to seeing quantum physics as a place to call my foundation of truth. Not sure if you believe in God, I did not until recently as I said, so what really finished me off after learning flat earth was ray comfort on youtube ask if a book can make itself, make the glue, the paper, write the story, bind itself. OF COURSE not right? Well our DNA has been called the book of life, it has in it writing and specific instructions that tell the human body when and what to do?

You have got physics with great communication skills by the way. Love to see from you about Global warming because some body asked me, "everybody talking about increasing of snow fall this year and they also talk about Global warming" . My opinion is Global warming is it is 100% SCAM, like the U.S. being a corporation, like Las Vegas Shooting being 100% FAKE (it was a HOAX), just like NASA is NOT in SPACE, I repeat NOT in space, check out Jeranism on youtube and you are bound to see the LIES. They are everywhere and it is hard for most to accept I guess. I believe we live on a Flat Earth inside a DOME. God does not need any help in carrying out His plans. Do you get it? I do NOT believe that we are living on a ball spinning 100mph at the equator hurtling through space at close to 1 MILLION mph ! ?? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

I really agree with your saying that it is a 100% scam. Because if you watch pentagon when it was collapsing it can be seen very easily that the peak of the jet came out of the building of pentagon from other side. I believe that you will know jets and airplanes are made of such light metal . And the pentagon was made of special kind of metal material in the walls but how the jet so light weight penetrate in so much strong building and came out of other side. After the attack , analysts tried a strong metal bus with altra high speed with a very usual and common constructed wall and the heavy bus collapsed itself but the wall was standing. So that proved that they have themselves attack pentagon with a missile wearing airplane suit to make illusion in world and can attack Afghanistan. I will search more about flat Earth But thank you so much @zoomtruth I really appreciate that you replied to me with such straight and strong answers to keep aside my confusions.

Eric Dubay History of Flat Earth is a good start, ODD TVis very good for this crazy, aplanetruth.info, and Jeranism BUSTS NASA all say long, is a good start. I will say this, if you start really questioning the ball its pretty tough going in the beginning because much of family and friends will think you lost it ! lol But it gets better because now I meet people like you who want to QUESTION things! It is the most amzing period in my 47 years alive, this is a MASS AWAKENING to the LIES!

Im glad to hear you have stopped drinking, don't drink that poison ever again.
The modern flat Earth theory phenomena is a reinterpretation and reform of the perspective of existing outside or above the planet. The Earth globe perspective as you point out is wrong and any decent cartographer can tell you that a lot of work must be done to establish an accurate perspective of even a small piece of the World let alone the whole thing.
My opinion of the disconnection between peoples radically different versions of reality is that it must come from subjective reinterpretations of definitions of words. This type of creative epistemology prevents people from actually understanding what other people have to offer.
For example, the quantum positioning experiment, while it is absurd and irrelevant to our lives, for some the interpretation of this experiment continues to define their complete consciousness of the Earth as a self serving mechanism, this is a form of apotheosis accepted by modern culture as normal. For me, hearing anyone call the conclusions gathered from studying the positioning of subatomic particles truth is making a mockery of the word truth.

@godo Thanks I just see no way of ever drinking again, it REPULSES me now, so weird. People's IGNORANCE really keep us locked in prison. Words are EXTREMELY important and they have dumbed us down so much that it seems like most people speak a different language.
I have many many questions regarding flat earth and how it works, it seems like just the opposite for ball earthers everything is a fact just ask x or y scientist.
Regarding quantum ANYTHING, I watched a video on D-Wave about it being a total lie and hoax, the evidence presented was almost rock solid regarding the logic. As for quantum proof, how many people even can understand it? Even the "quantum scientist" do not agree with each other lol .
I sincerely hope we stay in touch here, I am putting together a list on word of special people here at steemit I relate too because I mass followed so many people I cannot keep track lol.

This is really insightful. Like, how are you sure what you know is really what you know? The fact is, what we know now is based on what everyone before us and around us has proposed if you really think about it.
For me that is how it is, so I am being a hypocrite because in the back of my mind that is the case I think.
What if you thinking you're an hypocrite is a function of external factors? Like what someone might have mentioned once and your mind subconsciously picks it.

I think the key is to always test your beliefs maybe, thats where God messes me up, I feel that I cannot be on the fence with God, I just cannot bring myself to allow that I may be wrong, thus a hypocrite! grrrrrrrrrr lol so confusing

That something is a scientific fact does not make it true if you argue this how then can you explain a woman without fallopian tubes giving birth without any scientific procedure on her or a cripple walking after been prayed for. A book that writes itself does not exist simply because the material a book ( a pile of sheets of paper with ink on it ) is not capable of writing.
The DNA in all living creatures is not comparable with a book.
A book itself can also not replicate itself, while DNA can in a way.
BUT if you provide an infinite number of monkeys with an infinite amount of paint, canvas and brushes, they will produce an infinite number of Picasso paintings ( and on the way an infinite number of Rembrandts, Mondriaans, van Goghs as well as an infinite amount of rubbish! )
They will even produce an infinite number of Picasso paintings that were never painted by Picasso himself, while beiing Picasso paintings after all!!
They will surely paint all the works of Shakespeare on their infinite amount of canvasses.

I do not understand your point. If you agree that information and physicality cannot APPEAR from NOTHING like I think you said about the BOOK, then it is AUTOMATIC to apply that same logic to the same EXACT scenario. In this case we have created a body from (nothing) just as the "book" is created from nothing, then you have the information in the book that you agree cannot come from NOTHING so by that logic YOU MUST agree that the information in our DNA did not spontaneously appear, it WAS WRITTEN. By a creator. PEACE
The book analogy may be proof of Source (or the place where we all we were created from) but not proof of God in the Christian sense. Christianity is like saying the "creator" of your book is different than the that of a different religious belief. How does that make sense? Religion divides us... yet we come from the same creator or Source.
Hey Now! I have to agree with you that I cannot honestly (I think) Prove anything Regarding proving against other Gods. Just because the Bible says anything does not make it "real" automatically. I do NOT consider Christianity a religion at all. NO ONE is TELLING me how to read MY BIBLE, they can offer suggestions but it stops THERE!
Religion to me is when a certain organization LEADS people to believe WHAT, and HOW to intrepert, and the followers ADHERE to those RULES, that LAY FAR OUTSIDE the 10 commandments. The 10 commandments are ALL I concern myself with now and the amount of sense they make overall to me is STAGGERING.
If everyone lived by the 10 commandments there would be PEACE and LOVE EVERYWHERE GUARANTEED. That is God and TRUTH to me 100% can ANYONE Disagree with THAT? This is why I love it here at steemit, it forces me to explore my own opinions and realize they are NOT certain in all ways, and while there are many weak points I believe my last point is IRREFUTABLE. The 10 commandments solve EVERYTHING at its root and that is NOT religion that is God 100%, simple and POWERFUL.
I understand what you are saying and I agree that the 10 Commandments are important spiritually and morally.. but I believe other religions have the same important sediment in their holy books. Such as Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, Judaism, etc. They are not wrong and I believe there is truth of the higher power (or Source... or God as you chose to call it) in all of them. Does that make sense?
I honestly do not think real christianity is a religion. Mor e important the main poiny ray comfort made about christianity that I really love is that it REQUIRES ACTION to be genuine. There is none of this, I am going to go out and bang chicks randomly and be a christian, it does NOT work that way, either you walk the walk or you not a true christaiuan.. That makes sense to me, buddhism, hindu I have NEVER read so I am taking Ray comforts word for now that that is true.

These are the best non-fiction books I have read in many years, though I can imagine that you would describe these books as fiction..( which of course in a sense they are if you appreciate the meaning of what the auteur describes.)
BTW: these books did not write themselves I suppose ;-)
I read a description , I am confused. I am NOT an expert on the Bible but 70,000 years seriously conflicts with the Bible, I am making the mistake of assuming the author is a jew, it seems probable. Does the torah really say that the earth is 70,000 years old?
Where he lands makes alot of sense to me because I LIVED IT, is the idea humanism. I worshipped, women, money, the illusion I was funny or a good person. I was a scumbag 100%. I did not think I was but now I do.
Next stop mark of the beast- when we get chipped right? so yeah this guy is on point with his ideas for sure, I just cannot agree with the 70,000 year old universe, seems like it would be hard to REALLY prove. I am not buyer of carbon dating.
