IDENTITY CRISIS AND PURPOSE DISCOVERY (3)
Purpose discovery is easy when you understand why you need it.
The first point of excelling in anything whatsoever is a clear understanding of your "why?".
Researchers and leadership experts have called it your big why. It underlines your intentions of taking any action.
Why do you think you need to discover purpose? It's important to answer this question because if your reason of doing something is hinged on wrong intentions, you would have already failed before you began.
Sum it up and you'll have good ideas but bad intentions.
Some people want to discover themselves so that they can compete with others.
They see their friends on social media doing something and they feel it's because they've not discovered themselves that they're not doing things. So next minute, they're initiating a project, reading motivational books to discover themselves.
That's a good step but with bad intentions.
Don't you think your life deserves more? So then, ask yourself another question, "why do I want to discover my purpose? And why am I doing what I'm doing?
Below are some of the reasons why you should discover yourself:
You will die one day and you want to leave as an empty man. What do you want to be known for? What impact have you made to the world? You don't want to end up like the servant that hid his talent on the ground.
There's enough pie to go round for everyone. Inside you lives a yearning and a deep longing for manifestation. The giant in you screams to be let out. That giant represents every beautiful thing you could be but how can you achieve what you you never discovered?
No age is too old. I know some of us might be thinking, "at this my age, isn't it too late for me?" Well, if KFC thought that way, we probably won't have KFC chicken today. That business would have existed after all, because nature abhors vacuum but it wouldn't have been with his name.
These are some of the reasons why you must discover your potentials.
I'll see you in the part four.
