MODULE 6- EMOTIONALLY INTELLIGENT LEADERSHIP STYLES.
First I have to apologise for the time lapse, I was occupied with something important. I'll still share it here when I'm done but for now let's get back to the course.
Leadership Styles are mainly born out of Personality the leader posses and most times unconsciously.
Since we've talked about leadership and awareness, you should know now that leaders should always be alert, concious and deliberate while leading. And that's what we mean by Emotionally Intelligent Leadership Styles.
There are different Emotionally Intelligent Leadership Styles out there and we'll examine them briefly...
THE SENTINEL LEADER... This is the administrative leader who embraces formalities, bureaucracy and loves to maintain the status quo. A good leadership style for an administrative settings.
THE ANALYST LEADER... This is the rational and logical leader who avoid sentiment but follows facts and deductive reasoning. A good leadership style for Customer service settings.
THE DIPLOMATIC LEADER... This is the inspiring who who leads with belief and ideas. The diplomatic leader also leads with emotion and sentiment. This style is good for a visionary setting.
THE EXPLORER LEADER... This is the risk taking leader who leads through adventures and excitement. The explorer leader do not spend much time planing but acting rather.
