Pay It Forward Curation Contest - Support These Two Awesome Bloggers
The goal of the Pay It Forward Curation Contest is to increase exposure for under-valued, high-quality posts. These are my suggested bloggers for week 33.

Pay It Forward
Since the @newbiegames account is all about supporting newcomers through games and contests, I wondered why I had never taken part of the Pay It Forward Curation Contest. After all, it's a contest, so it fits within the niche of the account.
And by joining, maybe I can get more people to join the curation contest, and put even more bloggers with a reputation score of 55 or under in the spotlight.
If you want to join, these are the rules :
To enter the Curation Contest you will find 2 high-quality blog posts written by reputation level 55 or lower steemians and then write a curation style blog post like this entry by @viking-ventures from week 16 which won a Judges Choice Award. The idea is to highlight both posts and why you thought they were high quality.
You can read the original contest post here
Selected Bloggers
The reason I decided to join the curation contest this week was a post I stumbled upon yesterday that really impressed me.
Let me introduce you to:
@blind-spot
@blind-spot joined SteemIt last month and spent the first week exploring the platform, without writing a post. He is different than most newcomers, in the way that his interest in the platform is not triggered by the incentive of earning money. Instead, he sees SteemIt as a 'science lab', a social experiment.
Because of this, he has a very unique approach that allowed him to come to some very interesting conclusions. It takes some other users weeks, or even months to figure out SteemIt the way he did in only 1 month.
But @blind-spot is more than a social experiment...

Steemit Beta is astounding!

In this post, he shares some very interesting insights and strategies that are important to thrive in the SteemIt eco-system. His conclusions are spot on. I would even say that his article should be recommended reading for everyone, newcomers as well as veterans.
But it's not all experiments and results. When going through his post, you can feel he has already fallen in love with the SteemIt community, and genuinely wants to become a part of it.
On the first week of October I came first came across steemit. It was different to me, something very new and interesting. I was intrigued; just within a few clicks around the website I found myself keen to learn about steemit, to become a part of it.

@sparkesy43
My second nomination is completely different from the first one.
@sparkesy43 has been around since March and we bump into each other regularly, on different occasions.
Funny fact: up until last week, I was convinced @sparkesy43 was a girl, I don't know why. You can imagine how surprised I was finding out he was not. Another example of how gender is of non importance here on SteemIt...
If you follow @sparkesy43's blog, you'll notice he posts on a wide variety of topics. He also hosts a lot of contests, which makes it interesting for me, @newbiegames, to keep an eye on his blog.
The post he made yesterday caught my eye, because it was about a little-known service that can be very useful for a lot of people.
Featured post:
Have You Met Dustbunny?
In this posts, he talks about @dustbunny, a service I hadn't heard of before.
@dustbunny works somewhat like @dustsweeper, but is free for smaller users.
@dustbunny, on the other hand, relies on delegations to function, and looks after both the dust votes you give, and dust votes you receive. While it's a free service, you if you delegate some SP to the cause (even just a little bit - I only have 10SP delegated at this stage), you are likely to be prioritised over those who have not delegated.
@dustbunny does have some requirements, though.
The bunny looks for real engagement and not using bots, alts and other shady techniques, so when you apply, there will be a bit of analysis on your account history before you get the nod for support.
Thanks @sparkesy43 for putting the word out about this service that can help a lot of users fix their dust votes.

Well I must say I'm certainly flattered, nay humbled, to be featured in an entry in such an esteemed contest. Thankyou @newbiegames
I had never heard of @dustbunny before, so I thought it would be a good idea to help spread the word.
Lol, I only just noticed I managed to spell your username wrong 3 times. Fixed it!
I'm no stranger to having my name spelled wrong (comes with the territory of having a slightly less than standard surname I guess).
I recall when I was much younger and fitter, during my football playing days, I went through an entire season with my name spelled correctly in the weekly program, right up until trophy night, where it was spelled wrong both on my own trophy, as well as the perpetual trophy that remains in the clubrooms and is update each year....
I know how it feels. That's exactly the reason I abandonned my first account. Got to rep score 51, but after mistyping my own username during a wallet transfer 3 times, i had enough. I created the @simplymike account and I never mistyped again, lol.
This post contained some typos in its mentions that have been corrected in less than a day. Thank you for your quick edit !

ummm... I actually made these images and the bunny in them... so I don't think I'll need to "source" them?!
I even talk about that in several of the bunny's posts... so yeah, sorry, I take some pride in always using original content for my projects, so it comes off as a little bit of an offence how you'd assume the images aren't "sourced" properly...
That aside... thanks for getting the word out :D
Sorry, my bad. I did not know you always use original content. There aren't a lot of people who do.
Hahaha, I just noticed I had competely missed that the bunny had Googlyeyes. How on earth could I not notice?! He's very cute, by the way..
Thanks for the entry. Both bloggers have been upvoted.
Thanks @pifc
It's good to see you enter the contest! I've supported both of your bloggers.
I seldom see anything from @newbiegames after HF20 except in the steemmonsters battle field 😂😂 supported both of your picks, they're cool👌
How did I only just notice this feature?
I'm very humbled as well as proud to have been noticed. Thank you so much for appreciating and showing me support!
I believe there are many powerful and valuable newbies that go unnoticed. @newbiegames is an awesome initiative for such newbies that require a pushstart!
Keep on going with the awesome work!
