Hi steemians, it your Blockchan Entertainer here again With Sonic Lost World. I decided to give its Nintendo versions a review, and yes I've played both 3DS and Wii U versions.

its an adventure video game platform developed by Sonic Team

from my previews game review, Lost world edition is focused of theThe Hedgehog(from my previous post) to stop the Dead Six(the games main antagonists)

This game was developed shortly after the release of Sonic Colors(from my previous post)

Character:

 The Protagonist -the Hedgehog

Tails is the protagonist best friend and sidekick

Knuckles the Echidna:

     A red anthropomorphic echidna

He sometimes Gullible, He is a serious and determined character.
He is a powerful fighter due to his spike hands. He climbs wall so well. He was once tricked by Eggman and went against Tails and Hedgehog

Army Rose

 nicknamed: Rosy the Rascal

She has a competitive and cheerful personality. she loves the main charracter by showing him endless affection. She is cute and powerful

Story:

Sonic and Tails chase Dr Eggman on the Tornado to make him release a nostalgic animal container, when he literally does that, Sonic and Tails fly down to get it and Eggman shoots their wing sending them tumbling down to the Lost Hex, what is it? No freaking clue, it's not explained whatsoever.

On this planet we're introduced to the Deadly Six who are very one dimensional, putting that aside, Eggman did conquer them but they betrayed him because tradition at this point.

Sonic and Eggman do a temporary team up, but that's it, temporary with lovely banter between them. I'll stop to avoid "spoilers"

Gameplay:

So Sonic Lost World ditches the boost mechanic and replaces it with parkour, in the Wii U version it's done okay, when you run alongside a wall you can spindash once for more height, in the 3DS version you can spindash as much as you want, but when you run up a wall in both versions you have one spindash.

So you're noticing I'm saying Spindash, in Lost World the spindash returns as well as a new gimmick....a run button, it's stupid, but I don't find a problem with it, it's not like it distracts me as I always hold it down, so it's okay I guess.

The wisps make a return, and some of the new ones use the motion on the Wii U Gamepad and the 3DS gyro, they control fine, and even then all but the rocket Wisp have a reset button for the Gyro.

The 3DS version is Sonic’s first 3D handheld game and it holds pretty well

Rating:

The game is rated PEGI 7 for mild language, now I haven't heard them swear, but it's the mention of death and the threats they make. Example 1: "your fate is to be destroyed, why don't you accept that? Lie down and die!" example 2: "I'll get fat from eating your black hearts! You Eggman Wannabes!". So yeah it does get dark, but other than that the rating fits

Official theme songs and soundtracks was released on Amazon and Itunes

Composed and Directed by Tomoya Ohtani
Orchestra by cutscene music group and Takahito Eguchi

Likes:

The music is absolutely fantastic and my favourite Sonic tracks, especially Dragon Dance and Sea Bottom Segue, the graphics are great especially on the 3DS version, it looks fantastic

Dislikes:

The level design for the 3DS version, okay so it starts off fine but the levels take forever to finish in the later half, the special stages are back on the 3DS and I hate them so much, you have to stand and move 360° to control Sonic. It gives you cramps and it's stupid

Overall score:

If you want this game then get it, for both ports wait for a price drop, if it's under N14,000 then I would get it, especially if it's under N9,000, I'll give it a N5000 out of 10, stick around for my next review, Its your Blockchain Entertainer Michaelcj
