In Mexico one can be sure to find tasty cheap food in one of two places, the beach or the roadside. While in Pie de la Cuesta just outside of Acapulco we stopped for some food, coincidentally right next door to the place we ate at about a year ago, around the last time we visited this area.

This place like many in Mexico had a pool at the restaurant. While its right on the beach that beach is known to not be very safe for swimming so there are a lot of pools in that area so people can still swim without worry.

They were a bit pricey but the food was good and worth it.

Our two friends ordered coconut water and this is how its served, as fresh as it gets. I took the coconuts home after and gave them to the dogs.

I nearly immediately befriended this beach dog. I posted this video on dtube a few days ago of him burying a taco in the sand.

The food was awesome and the vibe was good. There were some kids playing a game that involved running, popcans filled with sand and everyone was getting into it. It was a good end to a good day.
