Adventures Around Acapulco, Part 12: Restaurant "El Tio Markos" in Pie de la Cuesta

in #food7 years ago

Today we visted Pie de la Cuesta again, this time just John and I.  We haven't been back since @modprobe's accident (we went there earlier in the day, before the accident) so it was a bit bittersweet but still fun.  We stopped at this seaside restaurant, complete with happy singing Mexicans.

The Menu was mainly seafood and a bit pricer than we generally pay.

This restaurant also had a massage table on hand, for those interested.

There was also a court for anyone to play volleyball.

They had hammocks next to the table, which is part of why we stopped.

John got shrimp tacos, which were more cheese than shrimp and totally not what was expected.  That's common here, don't come with expectations because it will be different.

I got pescadillas, which seemed to be fried fish stuffed tortillas. It was a bit much for me, but the salad was good!

Here's a closeup of the salad, which had a dressing I couldn't place but I liked.

So there you have it, a nice little place worth stopping at especially for a seafood lover.  We weren't super into what we got but the place smelled good enough to make us stop and try it.  So if you find yourself in Pie de la Cuesta, try this place!

Thanks for supporting us, until next time!

Looks delish! Those prices are in pesos, right?
BTW, I am going to Acapulco/Puerto Escondido Feb 2018 so if you have any tips (reading your blog on it now) pass them on!

Very nice post. Food looks delicious!

Oh, that looks amazing. I had a long day of fixing fence and that all looks miraculous! I would love to be there.

The tacos look really good! Might get some mexican myself tonight! Thanx for sharing!
