Finally, we are now going into the last quarter of 2018. So, what had we done and what else have we not achieve yet? For the first week of October, I plan to go through all my resolutions and goals again and restructure how I going to achieve as much as possible for my 2018.

Life and work aside, Steemit has been taking up a lot of my time since I joined 15 months ago. Well, I have not officially celebrated my 1-year old birthday on this platform and I am taking this opportunity to briefly celebrate about this. Let us play some game with this small celebration of mine. I will be giving out 6 steem for this little giveaway.

Now, game aside, I would like to just sum up on what I had personally did on Steemit and also the initiative that I am running, @archisteem. As of now, my focus is mainly on pushing the project, 1001 Places to Remember to completion which is by end of this year. Therefore, this 4th quarter of 2018 is very crucial for me and every day counts.

Without a doubt, I had grown a lot in terms of capability to write at a more frequent pace. I had yet to compile and analyze how much I had written and what kind of topics I had written about. I think that it is beneficial for me as well as my readers to have a complete set of compilation on what I had written about, this will enable a traceable growth record for all to witness. I would say it is a blessing for me to have enter Steemit without thinking much about the reward at the very starting moment. I have been planning to produce a publication in my near future planning about architecture, I must put myself to a writing habit that could produce quality contents. Steemit plays a great part for this habit making as it also provides incentives for the process I am going through.

Status of Archisteem

Here, my main reason for this post is to promote my @archisteem’s project which is 1001 Places to Remember which had been held for 6 months while @archisteem had been running for 8 months.

At the very beginning of @archisteem, me and 2 partners, @cklai and @funtraveller had been trying hard to get people into the initiative. Unfortunately, it was extremely hard to do so as there is no clear program and reward that could encourage people to join the fun. After a few discussions between us, we had decided to create this project called 1001 Places to Remember to drive the whole initiative momentum.

As of now, I am seeing the improvement of this initiative and it has gained some followers and supporters. It is truly something fascinating to go through and I am so grateful to each and every people who supported the initiative all along.

Here, I would like to list out the milestone that we planned for the project, 1001 Places to Remember and also added notes on what we had achieved and what we are working on for this project.

Milestone of 1001 Places to Remember:

August:

1. To hit 200 collected submissions (achieved)

September:

1. To hit 500 collected submissions (310 submissions, 279 qualified)
2. To find a web designer, an editor, and a graphic designer (found graphic designer, 3 editors)

October:

1. To hit 800 collected submissions (to curate and receive 18 stories per day)
2. To have a demo website for internal trial (temporary halt, focus on editorial and publication design)
3. To have 400 submissions edited and start formatting for the publication (27 completed as of 30th Septemeber 2018)
4. To have the first draft template (to be prepared by 30th October 2018)

November:

1. To hit 1001 collected submissions
2. To have amended website and ready for the second trial
3. To have real data inserted into the website (500 submitted works included)
4. To have 800 submissions edited and edit formatting for the publication
5. To have finalized design template and insert the submitted works and contents (500 pages completion)

December:

1. To have a final trial by mid of December before publishing to the public by end of December
2. To fully insert all the works on the website before publishing to the public by end of December
3. To have all submissions edited and also complete formatting
4. To finish the publication and ready in PDF format by end of December

Besides, we had also successfully collaborated with different parties like @photocircle, @aaronli, @doctorworm, @sndbox, @thecreativecrypto, @fundition, @teammalaysia, @steemitbloggers and @steemitworldmap which you can read it up more here. The collaboration is still ongoing now and this have brought a lot of support to bring progress to the project.

Last but not least, I am here to say a very big Thank You to the community to all the supports I had gained so far. I also hope that there will be more @teammalaysia members will submit their stories and be part of the project.
