I love that it is a way for all of us to connect on such a basic human level and we have all been a child - we are all humans. We can all meet on this 'common ground', everyone, not limited by geography, culture, religion, or otherwise. It is a very simple way to drop the barriers between us all for a moment and connect in ways that remind us that we are all just people. Let's all reminisce on good times and make more while we're at it!

Please do, @darthgexe! Join in, I'd love to meet more people here and I have run this in the past and really gotten some great stuff. Let's get this rolling again, I have upgraded the fun and have some creative ways to 'enhance' the fun.
We have had authors write about toys that remind them of childhood experiences, some have shared music that brings them back to a certain memory, and some have gotten creative with their own unique ways to share - use #iwasakid tag, so I can keep track of the posts and look for a feature/showcase post next week - which the payout of goes to those who participated and had their posts featured. The past two features included ALL the posts, so I do my best to get everything in there!

It really is cool to see so many things that remind people of childhood. We all have slightly different experiences and all cultures and geographical areas have nuances as well - it's wild to see how different, yet so very similar we all really are. It's no surprise in the large scope of things; we are all just humans.
I hope you join in the fun and remember it can be anything that reminds you of your childhood, does not have to be photos - can be toys, art, music, movies - anything! Let those memory floodgates open @dearjyoce
