Greetings Steemit,

Eclipse or no Eclipse.. I often get lost staring at the Sun.

Whether Rising or Setting, I always hold to take in the moment when noticed, as a marker to 'begin' or 'end' the current day. Despite how much the World around us changes as we march along into the Future - this constant has been left unchanged since the dawn of our species.

The celestial magnitude of the moment also always serves me a healthy helping of penitence, as no matter what crazy bs I think I'm dealing with in my life, compared to a star in motion.. it all seems pretty insignificant. (in some sense)

In an attempt to slow down the stressful hustle that is 'our lives' .. please take pause to soak in these moments. If the Sun is weary of visiting your Sky today via weather interference.. please take pause to soak in this cell phone captured second of my Midwest US Sun.
