Previously in Part 9: I'm returned to the Marina Bay inn. But the trip was not smooth because arriving at the inn gate, some drunkards threw my car's rearview mirror. They are also deliberately looking for reasons to attack me. Finally I'm got into a fighting with the drunks. I managed to get four drunks. While a long-haired man got away. Read more: Part 9.

The sound of police sirens came closer when I had finished tying the drunks to the mahogany tree. While waiting for the police officer to arrive, I'm checking smartphone. There were ten incoming calls and one message from Yusuf.

"I called you several times, but no answer. Now I going to Marina Island. I hope you guys are fine."

I contacted Yusuf to tell us the chronological of even that happened to us. From across the phone came the screams of ship engines and high winds. "Yes, assalamualaikum. Are you okay?" Yusuf immediately asked me.

"Waalaikumsalam. I'm fine. I did not pick up the phone from you because we us carried Habibah to the hospital. She was hurt because it was plummed on the floor of the inn, my mobile was left behind."

"Hmmm ... How is Habibah condition now? Is she alright?"

"Thank God, she's fine now, but she lost a lot of blood because our travel time to the hospital was too long."

"Huh, why is that? Is not the distance from the Marina inn to the hospital just a few dozen miles? And Marina's traffic can not be as dense on the mainland."

"How did I tell you, actually, when we went to the hospital we had to deal with a bunch of drunk local youths, well, that's a long story."

"Ah, if it's a bunch of drunken youths, I'm not so worried, I'm sure you're is my brother can handle it, right?"

"Inshallah, here I am waiting for a police officer to come on. It turned out that the incident when we went to the hospital, went on and I just got into a fight with these guys drunked."

"How are you doing now? You're okay, are not you?"

"Alhamdulillah, I'm fine."

"All right, then I'll go straight to Marina's hospital when I get to the harbor, I'm close, the ship we are almost docked."

"Okay, oh, Engku and his wife are also hospitalized, do you already know?"

"Huh, why?"

"He was robbed by the same drunk boys, who are problem with me now."

"Is he okay?"

"Before I went back to the inn, Engku and his wife was getting medical treatment, I do not know how about Engku and his wife are doing now, I wish they are was all right."

"Amen, well I'm going to telling my friends at Marina about Engku's. Assalamualaikum "

"Waalaikumsalam."

From the gate of the inn were three police cars entering. They are then parking directly in front of the Marina Bay building. A Six men in blue uniforms went down from the cars. One of them looking was stocky and looked aged.

"Hello, good afternoon, you Mr. Nasir?" The burly man in the police uniform asking me.

"Yes, that's right, I'm Nasir, I'm asking for help from the you'r to process this drunken man's at law, they threw my car's rearview mirror and deliberately searched for an excuse to bothering me."

"Hmmm ... Okay, kids, take care of them." The man's orders to some of his friends, whose age I predicted much younger than me.

"Yes Capt," they said.

The policeman then requested information from me regarding the chronological of attacked. We did take up to 90 minutes to straighten out the case. The policeman just resolved the question when I asked for permission to return to the hospital.

"Okay, the information from you is enough, but we'll get back to you later, and I hope you can go to the police station for the examination of witness files and official reports." I accept the request and then handed the my name card to police officer.

I saw four drunken young men being handcuffed. Two of them were in pain because of broken arms and shoulders. I just shook my head. The police had gone. Now I live alone at the inn.

Suddenly a ring of incoming messages rang on my mobile. I checking my inbox messages. "My wife."

She asked me to hurry back to the hospital. Our oldest son was crying because he was getting bored there. While our youngest daughter should get her full attention because it is still post-incident trauma.

The sun is now set. The situation began to darken and the singing of crickets increasingly hectic. I performed the evening prayers and then wrapped up the children's clothes. Who knows we should stay at the hospital. After all, I have to help my Engku family who was the victim of a robbery, for wanting to help me.

After packaging up all the necessities, I locking the inn door and got ready to go to the hospital. The supplies then I putting in the trunk of the car. "Bismillah."

I turn on the car starters, turn on the lights, and want to embed the gas when suddenly a child is seen sitting on the veranda of the inn. He closed his eyes when my car's headlights were right on his face. I was shocked. [] (to be continue...)

This story is just fiction. The similarity of names, places, institutions and stories is a mere coincidence. This is the first fiction I'm writing and immediately publish it in steemit. I hope the criticism and suggestions related to the storyline and editing of writing in this fiction, to be better in the next section. (Author: Boy Nashruddin/@boynashruddin)
