The blockchain is a fascinating and diverse forum for storytelling. There's so many different writers, authors, and poets from as many unique backgrounds. I wrote a story several days ago, about a soldier coming home from Vietnam. I had this contest in mind. Since then, I've been tempted back to the keyboard with a prompt by @themarkymark: A First Tinder Date.
I couldn't decide which story to enter. The Tinder story is the more recent, and also the more improbable (for me), so I decided to enter that one in the contest. Here it is: Writing Prompts Contest, Week #2: A First Tinder Date.

This is a short story I wrote as part of a cumulative effort between 10 writers, each of us writing our chapter. In this scenario, I wrote part 2 after another writer started the storyline. Part 1 is linked in the story too.

I write fiction about real things which can be translated into fantasy and/or myths, and other crafts of the mind.
In this opportunity, the story was inspired by an abandoned house; I took the picture three days ago.
My story is about a woman who is either schizophrenic or dead, or both. The idea came to me as I considered if insane people also made insane ghosts.

Last week, I had written a short story, Sophie in Stockholm, for a writing contest whose prompt was tension. I decided to take it as both physical and emotional, and so the plot I came up with involved a kidnapping situation and some insight on the famous Stockholm syndrome. This week, the prompt given for the same writing contest was your first Tinder date. A plot started building in my mind, and it turned out to be a sequel for the previous storyline. That is the short story I'm sharing with you today, Mike the loner.

Because this is also a team up between @celfmagazine and @sndbox, I had to share WeWrite by the @FreeWriteHouse. We have find to another writer and together write a story. The given prompt was boxer, @ireenchew and I teamed up. I wrote the first half and she picked up from where I stopped and wrote for another 5 minutes. Hope you like the story 😊
