Ornamental Purslane
Portulaca Oleracea
Canon PowerShot SX420 IS
This variety is called 'Cupcake Peach'
The ornamental purslane is edible, although not quite as tasty as the purslane that you may find growing in your garden and pull as a noxious weed! But Purslane is incredibly nutritious, somewhat crunchy and has a slight lemony taste. It can substitute for spinach in many recipes. Young, raw leaves and stems are tender and are good in salads, omlets, and sandwiches It grows rapidly and I love it in hanging baskets.

I've never heard of Purslane @melinda010100. I wonder if it grows here or if we call it something else. It sounds like a pretty interesting plant. 😊
Miners lettuce? It seems to have several common names.

They are so beautiful. Here in home My mom have some of this😍
I was reading that they are popular all over the world...they are edible, but probably wouldn't last long on a cake!
I've never seen this type of Portulaca before, it's interesting.
