- the owner of a private gallery in London that specialized in the work of young artists founded the Twenties Group in 1930. Its members included Barbara Hepworth, Roger Hilton, Robert Medley, Victor Pasmore, Christopher Wood, Elizabeth Rivers and Norah McGuinness; all aged between twenty and thirty.
