#51 (Now #50) - @Chitty

@Chitty is a well-spoken (or written?) member of the Steemit community, with one of the most well-put together original Witness threads I have seen (linked below). In his own words, his goals as a witness are to: “to promote a better distribution of rewards without compromising the stability of the network,” though he is also a firm proponent that all Steemians should be able to buy, sell, power-down or hold as they need to without judgment. He has recently broken into the top 50, which appears to be a well-deserved bump for this Steemian, especially given we still have some dead witnesses from the top 50 who should be unvoted (witness.svk, roadscape, steempty).

Chitty is active in trying to bring Steemit to communities in more languages than English. He created @steemiobot, a Twitter and Telegram Account/Chatbot that broadcasts all posts in the Spanish tag of Steemit. He is also a close follower of the Venezuelan community, as a promoter of the @provenezuela curation trail and creator of chainbb.com/f/venezuela

A glance at Chitty’s blog will show you that, much like yours truly, he is a big fan of using South Park images in his posts. (Frankly, it’s hard not to sometimes.) Most of his posts are in the Steem, Cryptocurrency, and Photography tags of Steemit, the first of which he seems to be particularly knowledgeable about.

Chitty wrote a fascinating post on the continued divestment of Steem tokens by a particular large whale (who may or may not have been featured on one of these witness reports previously). Perhaps even more fascinating are the price implications that come from the comments on that thread. I would encourage all interested readers to scroll down and check it for themselves.
