A Wednesday Yard Walk

A Wednesday Wander

Okay I found this small challenge:

@tattoodjay challenges us to go out for a short 5 minute walk and take photos of the things we see for his #Wednesdaywalk challenge.

Courtesy of a post that @melinda010100 did. I don't do challenges to often, but my wife @shasta also urged me, so here is my morning walk in the yard. It took longer than 5 minutes, but bending stooping and contorting to take pictures takes time, and Bees like to buzz around. Not very many critter pics for me, but it is clearly approaching the end of the summer bloom season.

I changed my mind about the first picture. I called this one the end of the summer blue. It was the last touch of blue flowers that I saw in the yard, a little bit blurry, and the sharpen function did not help much, but I still like the picture.

I take a lot of pictures of flowers, most people like to take flower pictures, but I have also been taking pictures of the grasses we have around here, so I thought this grass would make a nice divider bar so here is grassy 2 divider:

We will get to see grassy 1 divider a little bit further down on the page.

The clover is almost over, and little whites are dying out. I still can not remember the name of the five petaled little white flower, it's about the size of a nickel.

A little bit of mellow yellow and a dew dropped little spider web, I tried to zoom in crop and add a blown up piece of the web dew drops in the bottom right corner. And now as promised above, lets bring in the second grassy divider.

Bugs, I like pictures of bugs, well I like lots of different pictures, but bees and flies lately have been in my sights so here we go with the pesky show.

A lazy fly, its wings not quite yet dry. Compare it to the gold dusted beautiful little busy bee, gathering its pollen for honey to be.

So this was going to be my first picture choice, but I changed my mind. I saved, I think the best for last. He came out very clear and those little flakes of gold look so cool.

Well I hope you enjoyed exploring some of the plants around the yard here, Soon it will be all snow, but thats okay.

Challenges like that make you notice things you normally wouldn’t. Great pics.

Thanks, It gave me a chance to use my macro lens since I did not go anywhere other than the yard. The macro lens will take far away kind of snap shots, but then you get vignetting and bulging, and the pictures are a whole lot softer looking, which can be a pretty cool effect.

LOL, I just had to use dictionary.com twice. That rarely ever happens to me.

Those photos are class by the way. You must have a nice camera. The bees wings in particular.

I forgot to mention that in the post, I have a Nikon D7500, for the walk I put my macro lens on, that is by far the best bee picture I have so far. He came out great. thank you.

I love the grassy dividers such a cool idea, and what beautiful flowers you saw on your walk.

Thanks for joining Wednesday walk, sorry for the short reply, but were moved office today and I am achy all over from doing more than I should have, also sorry for no upvote my I drained my upvote power by mistake this morning, but thanks for joining Wednesday walk and tip!

It was a fun little walk, I did see a few things that I had not before. Seasons are definitely changing. lack of vote power is a thing for now, it will get better for all of us, hopefully soon, in the meantime, no problem. Almost every morning I end up on the short vote side, then I run it down again to recover whilst I sleep, before bed. It is why sometimes my vote time does not equal my comment time.

Thanks kindly that’s also part on the idea of the chatto see things you otherwise may not even notice normally
I normally manage my VP well but messed up yesterday lol 😂

I don't know much about photography. I do love the page dividers.
i make a lot of graphics for my blogs. I can get lost in photo shop.
I am going to leave the tab up for a vote in the morning. Trust me it will be better after the recharge :)

My wife likes playing in paintshop pro for her divider lines, she recently found an online photo place to play.
Here is one of the pictures I thought came out just fantastic. So much going on in there:

I love that!! The heart at the bottom is a nice touch. Maybe it is the brain fog before coffee kicks in. The title of that link got a song stuck in my head. The theme song from an old seventies sit com. It was named Sunshine. Alrighty then carry on I am going to go look at that link now.

I am so glad you saw my #Wednesdaywalk and joined in! It has become one of my favorite days of the week. I feel like I have a photo mission.
I love the color of the blue flower. Incredibly attractive, and in the last photo, the bees wings are pretty amazing!
I love seeing what's going on in your yard and would love to have you show us what it looks like each week as the season changes.

I enjoyed the walk, and that bee picture for me made it all the more worthwhile. I think it is the best bee shot I have so far.

Your photography is excellent..
Beautiful flowers..
You really had fun.

Thank you for your contribution to the "pc-nature" tag
