The Storm Is Over

Two days of fierce winds and a bit of snow thrown in for fun. Our power stayed on thank goodness, though we did lose the internet for 24 hours. I read 200 pages of my book yesterday and enjoyed every minute of it.

Today I awoke to the sun, and fairly mild weather. After being cooped up for so long we made the most of the day, playing outside and even dragging Dad @hendrix22 out there again after supper. Despite the late winter storms, beautiful spring is on its way, nothing can stop it.

Playing soccer. I like this game because I can keep my hands in my pockets to play it. I still haven't mastered the art of dressing appropriately for weather you see.

Contrary to popular belief we don't have names for all of our chickens. Some look too much alike, like the "Whites" and the "Batmans". Nooooooooooo clue who's who there.

    Nothing prettier than the quiet after the storm. Glad you got some reading done and were safe. Hoping to do another walk with me, but I'm waiting for it to stop snowing here...will it ever? Who knows...

    Your storm got over and ours is just around the corner. The next two days are going to be full of snow and [sadly] dust as March heat has already settled in. Crazy winters this year.
