Description

Learn the functionality of Vult's Trummer Drum Synthesizer module

Drummer is a very powerful drum synth. It has to sound sources: oscillator and noise. Both of these sound sources has its own filters and can be manipulated independently. Both are output in a common output and are controlled by a common gate.

Learn how to manipulate the Oscillator

Trummer has an oscillator which produces a sine wave and is applied to the internal filters and combined with the noise portion of the module's output.

Learn how to use the Tune function

Tune changes the frequency of the oscillator.

Learn how to use the Bend function

Bend is portamento. Turning the dial to the right adds portamento descending to the note produced by the oscillator. Turning the dial to the left adds portamento ascending to the note produced by the oscillator.

Learn how to use the Drive function

Increasing Drive raises the amplitude slightly and brings out the harmonics of the waveform.

#Learn how to use the Attach, Hold and Release functions

Attack, Hold and Release are a simpler version of ADSR. These controls let us shape the time variables of our drum sound. In this tutorial I go over all the details of these variables.

So cool! I'm definitely gonna get into this VCV rack. What a great tool to learn modular synthesis!
I've been producing for a long time, but started out using Massive and Sylenth.
I've been meaning to get back to the basics.
Learn TRUE SYNTHESIS.
