What Will I Learn?

• You will learn the functionality of Audible Instruments' Macro Oscillator

• The software application VCV Rack installed
• Access to the Internet
• An account created on www.vcvrack.com
• Fundamental plugins installed
• Audible Instruments plugin pack installed

Description

Audible Instruments' modules are all adaptations of the Open Source hardware modules created by Mutable Instruments. All the Audible Instruments' modules are exact representations of the hardware versions. The manuals for all Mutable Instruments modules apply to these VCV Rack modules and can be used.

Learn how to use Audible Instruments' Macro Oscillator

Macro Oscillator is a oscillator with redefined wave shapes. The module contains main waves that can be selected with the EDIT selector. Macro Oscillator has Timbre and Color selectors which can be used to edit each wave.

#Learn how to select and edit from the waveform bank

Rotating the EDIT selector scrolls through the many wave shapes available. These are displayed in the small display window. The oscillator's predefined waves use a variety of synthesis techniques to shape the waves and we can make further changes to the waves with the controls on the oscillator.

Learn the function of Timbre and Color

Timbre and Color have different roles in each of the waveforms. In some it may control pulse width and in another it may control a filter, another an EQ. The manual for the module provides details on the role of these controls for each waveform.
